An event has been added to Merge Academy, called The Treasure Trove. This event will give you the opportunity to earn one new game award badges, and will last until August 19.
To get to the event, open Merge Academy, click the Play button and then click the Special Event icon:

I like that they have given us longer to do this, I haven’t got very far before and I do like the energy given in the game.

This is the 4th time the event showed up. I wrote to Sconnie about the time limit on the game to nearly impossible to get on the days given. I spent so many gems to get to the end only to find there are 25 orders to fill with the pink pack and pottery wheel for the last ten orders filled. With those two items, they do not show up until later in the game and comes out one an hour with very few spits from them making it impossible to even get close. I will play this event with the schedule 100 energies and then stop. I like the prizes it gives the regular game but will not get close to finishing the event. I will not lose sleep over it. It’s not worth it.

I feel the same way. The last time I was having so much fun I broke my own rules and bought more energy. I cleared the board, but those “generators” that only let you do 4 clicks an hour kept me from completing. Never again. Like you said.. I’ll play only with the energy Pogo gives us.

The thing I would like to know is how are we supposed to win the Treasure Trove Event 1-5 badges and the Treasure Trove Objectives 10,20,30,40,50,60,70.80 & 90 badges. During the first round of the Treasure Trove Event I admit I spent way too much trying to get them but to no avail. I’ve messaged Sconnie but have not received a reply explaining how they are won. The only badges I’ve won so far are for orders.
Has anyone reading this earned those badges and if you have, How did you do it?

I received the objective one badge during the last event, but I have no idea how that happened or why. It did occur when I uncovered the treasure chest. I didn’t finish the last one again, like all the others because the items were at max level and there wasn’t enough time or gems to get them. I did receive the order 60 badge after only doing 4 or five orders in this event, so many things hold over event to event. That is just speculation on my part though.

Esque, I finished everything in the first event except Orders & Merges and those requirements kept going higher and higher. Also had the board cleared but no Event or Objective badge.

Like I said, no idea how or why. Waiting now to see if and when I get the next one. I’ve gotten the 60 orders badge as well. Sorry can’t help more.

I have finished the board twice (never again)….I have not received any of the Event badges….only the serving customers badges! Frustrating!

I got the 10 objectives last time. It didn’t pop up, I just saw it in my collection later.

I’m with the folks above, not going to spend to get this. Spent way too much time on the last one, came up just short. Another subject-has anyone noticed that the days left on badges that give 600 changes each day to match with the days left on the Constellation for this month? Have checked it the last two days! Unable to start any to be ahead for the next Constellation!

Very proud of myself and all of us who took control and are not spending for energy like a bunch of crazy people. I’m just going in on/after the 3 hour mark and playing. I now feel much better for my piece of mind and my wallet :)
Yes, Esque, I’m pretty sure from what I’ve experienced and what Rose posted at some point that progress does hold over from event to event.

I am with you RyzandShyn and I am not spending for energy either. This game could become a real cash cow. I am trying to go in after or about the 3 hr mark and playing but not real upset if I miss.

Don’t expect to see it! I’ve cleared the board twice and have not received the badges for it! This time I learned my lesson…..went in whenever I could to use the energy but not going to use up all my gems again buying energy when there is nothing to show for it! I do appreciate the rewards to use in the regular board though.

Pogo must be having an issue tonight. Merge and even sudoku won’t load and thats using diff browsers and computer too. Of course when time is limited on Treasure Trove….i can’t get in!
