Secret Word Gardens is now available on Pogo!
In this new game from Pogo, Secret Word Gardens, completing word puzzles gives new life into forgotten landscapes as you earn points across hundreds of levels.

I played my main account enough to get the Garden 0 badge, but mainly to get far enough to where I can get the daily reward. The “Bonus jar” is a very good thing because it gives you things you need like seeds, fertilizer, and ink. You fill the bonus jar with words that you create that are not in the given puzzle. For example, if all the 4 letter words are filled in, I keep making lots more 4 letter words.

I just hit rank 17. I got 0 garden badge the rank 10 badge I am 66% done with garden1 the English walled garden. I also got the Gardener level 6 badge. If you are wondering what the garden level is it is the flower with a number in it.

I’, m guessing there will be challenges as there usually are with new games. And since I am terrible at word games think I/ll wait to start when the badges comes out as The very first levels are usually much easier and get harder as levels increase. But I think the above person siad you get daily rewards but do you need to get toe a certain level or do you get them just for signing in each day?

I’m thinking that you just had to win 12 games – and then the daily bonus is available. Daily bonus seems to be available at 7p (Central), so I got 2 bonus’s today.

After you play 10 games, there is a purse that opens up where you choose a free gift much like Darcy’s daily in Card Scramble. After playing 12 games, there is a daily game offered which can award prizes, again as like the daily puzzle in Card Scramble. Be aware the here too, you need to reopen the puzzle after finishing to get the prize..

I love word games. I hate that if you run out of ink, you have to wait a fw hours to get more . Its fun.

Filling the bonus jar and claiming its contents gives rewards, one of the common rewards is INK. Therefore I have accumulated several hundred INK. For anyone who has not played this game, INK can be thought of as lives or energy.

It’s hard to play with swiping on my iPad. Wordscapes is so smooth, I don’t know why this game can’t be the same.

If you have played Word Whomp, this game reminds me of that. Don’t worry if your word isn’t in the puzzle because it will go in the bonus jar and can be useful later in the game. I’ve only played a few games, but I like it. I want to wait to see if they release some badges to go with it, as Pogo did for Farm Merge and Tile What’s It.

On this site you can chose your dictionary and I find the “Words With Friends” dictionary gives me the most words.

A tip for the bonus jar….it takes 10 words that aren’t in the puzzle to fill it but keep an eye on it and claim it as soon as you notice it’s full. Any words over the 10 aren’t carried over to the next jar.

Well, I went in to try it. Got a bit frustrated because so many of the words I found weren’t the ones they were looking for, but was relieved (somewhat) that they counted toward something at least.

when i type the words, nothing is populating in the boxes…is anyone else having this problem?

Words only go up into the boxes when you make a word that’s deemed to be an answer they are looking for. Words that aren’t words disappear and words that aren’t words they are looking for go into the bonus jar.

My ink is not refilling and I see -50 next to it. I’ve waited 5 hours and went back and it’s still the same. My only option is to purchase more ink with gems? Is this the same for everyone?

It says after 8 hours you can “claim” 250 ink. I think that means that it does not automatically refill. I noted the time and started watching to see if “claim” really appears under the ink at 8 hours.

Hi All,
I hope ev1 is enjoying this game…. I have a tip for maxing out your available time to find bonus words:
1) Figure out as soon as you can what the word is that uses all of the letters.
2) Type in that word LAST– because it’s the only word you know for sure is on the list and then you can spend lots of time getting bonus words and words on the list as they come up.
I haven’t been using a word solver, or anagram helper, etc. and I knocked out 2 of the new badges in about 1/2 an hour and never got stuck– so far, LOL.

I have been playing this game but it says that there is a crossword shape and i would like to know how do you get to it? there really is not a lot on playing the game info. I have been playing for days and I do have a few badges. None of them were a crossword.

The daily puzzle is a crossword and when you finish an area or something you get one too. The daily button looks like a calendar to the right of Play.

Besides the daily crossword, there are occasionally random crossword shaped puzzles in regular play. A note on the daily: after you win it, you need to click on it to open again to get the reward — sometimes a very good reward; today it gave me 150 ink!

I play 1047 games; I am rank 46 so far, I am now working on the last garden that available witch is garden 3. I have a total of 6770 ink,1054 seed bags, it is a fun and easy game to play. I have not used any gems to get this far. I play for about 6hrs to 8hrs day on it. I use a word solver to get all of the words I can get, so I fill the jar anywhere between 2 and 7 time a game. You get a lot of stuff you can use from the jars. I skip the story line all the time, I am not interested in the story just playing the game. I like this game a lot and will be playing a lot, I did the first 6 free badges for this game. have fun everyone.
