Rank progress in Tri-Peaks Solitaire HD is based on the number of crystals you earn by clearing each peak.

At the beginning of the hand, it is best to remove as many cards as possible and try to get long streaks. You want to turn up as many face-down cards as quickly as possible.

As you progress, make sure that the bottom row of cards are removed before you get too high on other peaks.

When you get down to the end, it may be better to remove one card than removing two or three others. Say you have a 4,6 and 7 left on the playing field and you turn over a 5 from your deck. It is better to remove the 4 and leave the 6 and 7 for later. That way, you can win the hand if you get a 5,6,7 or 8. If you left the 4 on the table, then you can only win with a 3 or 5.

It is also better to save your wild cards for when you have one card left when the pile is empty (or two connecting cards). Using them to prolong a streak is something you should only do when working on a badge of that type.

You’ll have the chance to receive Face-Up Deals in a chest after you reach Rank 5.

This tip from brocklion can come in handy when you’re near the end of a hand and have not used the UNDO button:

You have few cards left, perhaps 4, such as a pair of 3s, each covering one other card. you draw a 4. Now, which 3 to choose? choose one 3, it uncovers a K. use the UNDO and choose the other 3, maybe it uncovers a 2 or 4 and you can also play the other 3. now you are left with only a K. In our example the pair of 3s could be a 3 and 5 as well when a 4 is turned up, the point is that you have a choice and can UNDO if the first choice looks bad.. Use this a few times and you will see other scenarios where using the UNDO can be useful. If you are a chronic misclicker, don’t use the UNDO too early in the game.
