What is the preferred browser for POGO?

With the Java 11 update coming soon and Flash going away, I want to make sure I am using the best browser for POGO.

Personally I use Torch (a Chrome variant) for Flash & html5 games and Pale Moon (a Firefox variant) for Java games. I also have Firefox ESR 52 for when I need to double browse in a Java game.

You do not want to do the Java update if you want to continue playing Java games on Pogo, doesn’t matter what browser you use.

And Java will probably disappear first, closely followed by Flash. Both will be gone from computers in a little of a year.

The best browser for Pogo is the one that works best for your computer. I use Internet Explorer, have never used anything else, and have no problems with any of the games on Pogo…and I play them all.

    prinzdarian,
I cannot get any java games to load using Firefox ESR 60.2.2
Should I try to go back to ESR 52 or do something else?

Firefox 52 ESR is the last Firefox version which supported many NPAPI plug-ins. You may want to check if it still receives any security updates.

Firefox 52 ESR is now End Of Life (EOL) as of Sept. 5th therefore will no longer receive security updates or stability fixes.
