What is Error time out while trying to Sign into Pogo?


Yesterday I started having this error:

Checking the connection
Checking the proxy and the firewall
Running Windows Network Diagnostics
ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT

I can get to the Pogo page but once I click on Sign In, page times out and I have this displayed. I have cleaned my cache, history, cookies, reboot, refreshed my ip address. Checked updates. Tech called and had me do all that I tried already again. They said I was the 4th case he had so far and on the west coast. On the page at

other people have written in and issues started all on the same day. Is anyone here having this problem and any fixes for it? Does Pogo really know many of us can’t sign it?? any help would be great and thank you!!

    I’m having the same issue on both of my Pogo accounts on any browser I try to use. My problem started yesterday when I cleared all data and restarted laptop. When I restarted and tried to access Pogo then I was unable to do so. Was playing Pogo games before I did this. Funny thing, I have another laptop I use mainly in my bedroom and when I turned it on from “sleep” (was not shut down), I’m able to access as I had two browsers already signed into Pogo. I’ve spent hours today trying to figure out how to contact EA/Pogo as unable to do so as I can’t sign in! Looks like this is a server issue only affecting some users. I finally just sent an email to editor@pogo.com as I saw suggested on the Badge Hungry site.

    Finally was able to make contact with EA customer service through chat and the rep stated several others have contacted about this. He checked with other personnel and found this is being worked on as a priority. Told me to try again to sign in to Pogo in an hour or so today and it should be fixed…I hope so!

    If you are having problem signing in using Chrome try another browser.

    I’ve have the same problem, started yesterday. Error code: INET_E_RESOURCE_NOT_FOUND, two laptops same error code. Even loaded new browser (firefox) and still get error code. Contacted EA to report it, just have to see what happens. Good to know it’s not just me!

    This is not a user error, it is a Pogo/EA server error only on the West Coast. My pogo has been down for 3 days now and I spent gems on the mix n magic marathon and now can’t complete it. I have been in chat on phone and online with EA help and of course get the run around. Perhaps it was because of the weekend. Still no excuse for not being truthful to the people they serve. I may even go as far as to say they’ve been hacked out here. There is NOTHING we as a consumer can do but sit here and throw away our money by having an account that we can’t access, not to mention that I am a bowling host and can’t do that job either. Sign me as furious.

    I haven’t been able to log in as well, my husband managed to do this morning but I’m still only logged in on Firefox. But I need to finish that nasty Quick Quack and I have 72 out of 80 and can’t finish is as I can only play it on Explorer and it will not let me sign in. Get the same error code on Edge. We tried all the things Tech support suggested and now we can’t even reach them. This is day 4 and I’m disgusted with their service.

    I haven’t been able to sign in to Pogo either. There are alot of complaints in the is it down right now site, ppl are complaining its been three days since this problem started and they are saying its only the West coast. My question is that is Pogo aware of this problem? ? Are they going to fix it? Very frustrated and its obvious its not my end.

    The last time there was a problem like this it had to do with the Internet Provider. I think it was Verizon, but it’s been quite a few years ago. And it may have been the west coast then also. But I could be wrong, has been known to happen, frequently :)

    EA rep told me yesterday this was being worked on as a priority and would be fixed soon as I stated above…obviously didn’t happen. I have an open case with EA and going to contact them again in a few hours and complain if still unable to sign in on Pogo. I live in Southeastern Idaho and my Internet is through Century Link.

    I live in Montana and Centurylink is my ISP also, and I haven’t had any problems.

    So that throws that suggestion out the window, sorry.

    And what could the problem be then? Its not my end since there are several ppl having the same problem as me. Since I cant access my account since there isnt any page to type, it only states ERR CONNECTION TIMED OUT can somebody tell us if it says on the homepage if POGO has been aware of the problem? or has state they are working on it? is there any hope? thanks in advance

    Some people and it worked for me too was to download Opera and enable VPN in the Browser Settings, then on the top left corner in the address bar it’s a blue box that says VPN, click it and change location to Europe.

    Yay!!!! Had just checked again and am now able to sign in on Pogo!! Checked all 4 browsers that I use: Chrome, Sea Monkey, Internet Explorer and Pale Moon! Hope everyone else is now able to get back on Pogo…good luck!!!

    yippy! finally it works!! Just want to say thank goodness for Badgehungry and all the super people here for the feedback cause we sure don’t get any answers or help from Pogo or EA!
