They have done so with the others in the past after a few months, so probably the same for these
If money is an object, you may want to see just how many you would purchase if they were individual and then go from there. If you would want 8 to do out of a set, you may think if you purchased them 1 at a time and depending on the price. It is a hard question but it looks to me like new badges are going for 20 gems, so 8 of them could be 160 gems. if they are 16 gems, then you break even at 8 as that would be 128.
Lura posted this on Feb 7th…
Pogo’s blog post about these states, “Great Barrier Reef Badges are only available in packs but will eventually be sold individually.”
So I went back and looked at old BadgeHungry posts to see when the other sets were first released and how long it was before they were first unbundled.
State Bird Badges – Released 11/21/2018 / Unbundled 08/14/2019
Flower Badges – Released 05/10/2019 / Unbundled 08/14/2019
Dog Badges – Released 06/12/2019 / Unbundled 08/14/2019
Cat Badges – Released 08/30/2019 / Unbundled N/A
Cookie Badges – Released 10/11/2019 / Unbundled N/A
As you can see Pogo unbundled 3 collections, anywhere from 2 months to 9 months after the Bundles were released. And there are also 3 collections that have never been offered individually…
States Set Bundles 1 thru 5 released on March 12, 2018
Cat Set Bundles 1 thru 4 released on August 30, 2019
Cookie Set Bundles 1 thru 5 released on October 11, 2019
You can still purchase the States Set Bundles, no idea why they were never retired, and they are all HTML games.
The Cat Bundles & Cookie Bundles can never offer all of the badges individually b/c there are Flash games in both collections.
So, it’s anyone’s guess when, or if, they are ever unbundled.
