My husband has albums and Mix n Match badges he has never done and instead of 2 or 3 thousand tokens, if he does them now he will get 600 or 800. I have to ask since mine have never been that old and I had no answer for him.

Interesting, the way you phrased your question. Older badges haven’t been devalued. Newer badges have INCREASED in number of tokens awarded. I think it’s called “inflation”. LOL It is depressing since older badges are generally Longer and Harder challenges too.

I agree with newbee’s explanation. I’ve completed the 2003 album for my second account only because of the challenge of doing that. The tokens awarded for completing those badges are paltry. In completing each one of those badges, though, you’ll usually end up gaining more tokens from playing then the badge bonus, so I think originally the completion tokens were just an additional plus.

As the years have gone on players had more & more tokens so Pogo has also increased the bonuses as well, so the answer to your question is inflation.

Thank you but I am talking about albums that had payouts of 2000 and 3000. Also, mix and match badges that were those amounts and are now way down. I would understand if they were from years ago or re-do’s but these are first time attempts and tokens have been adjusted from original amount to low amount. I just find it very curious.

Perhaps it would help if you could give some specific examples. I’m not aware of any instance where this has happened.

I’m not aware of any badge like that either. Like newbee would need the names of the badges/games.
