I have been unable to get Mahjong Safari to load since the ranks were expanded. I keep getting the “Cripes” error message, saying that the file was corrupted and clearing the caches will fix that. Well, it hasn’t. I uninstalled and re-installed Java. All of my plug-ins are up-to-date. I use the chrome browser but have also tried firefox with no success.
I did read through the thread on the new ranks and previous postings here first, but I haven’t had any luck.
This is the only game that will not load for me. Although I do get the “update Java, you’re using an unsupported version” popup every now and then.
Thanks.

No, I haven’t had any problems….have been playing a couple of hours each day.
I’m using IE9 and have the latest java and flash.
I have played on the US side, but prefer the UK since it’s not embedded there.
I hope you get it figured out, would tick me off if I couldn’t play 1 of my favorite games.
do you have mahjong safari in your favorites and going in that way.. sometimes that particular way seems to get corroded and ive removed it and gone in thru the main game page.. seems crazy but that was worked for me
Thank you, but no luck so far. I did try using IE and I did use the UK side. I did have Safari on my list of favorites and, even though I don’t usually use the list to enter a game, I removed Safari from the list, signed out and came back in, only to encounter the “cripes” message.
Please keep posting any suggestions because I will keep trying. I’ve looked in the Forums but I found the advice there to be a bit confusing. Hope springs eternal…there are ranks and a badge waiting to be done.
