I am not able to play certain games because where my mouse pointer is on the screen (which is where it is supposed to be normally) is not matching up with what the game thinks is the right spot for the “play now” button. For example, if I hover over the play now button, I can’t click it, but if I move my mouse about 2 inches below and slightly to the right, the play now button becomes highlighted and I can click on it.
I have this problem in mahjong safari and poppit that I am aware of, but I can play lottso express, so it’s not an all embedded game issue. I’ve tried different browsers and restarting my computer, but nothing is helping. I know pogo was experiencing some issues yesterday, but I have yet to see anyone say they are having this kind of problem so I don’t know if this is something I can fix on my end or not. I just update java last night to 7.17 I think, I don’t know if that has anything to do with it.

ive been able to play both on ff and ie.. havent heard of anyone having this problem..hopefully someone has some ideas to help
sounds like something I went though a while back,,, it wound up being that I needed a new mouse. (happened like you are saying) Nothing was wrong with my PC only the mouse died.
Could this be like the problem that people were having with the Hidden Object games? It was b/c their zoom was set over 100% and the objects were not where people were seeing them.
After messing around some more, it seems to be an imbedded flash game issue for me. I just wish I knew how to fix it. I updated flash and now Opera lets me play it, but I’m still not able to on chrome or FF. This is really causing my brain to go fuzzy…
Alright, I managed to disable the embedded flash in chrome and everything works now. Thank you everyone for your suggestions!
I didn’t see this thread and ended up posting a new one. I have the same issue- Flash is misregistering my mouse clicks. I agree with Jan that it’s either an embedded flash issue, or a Pogo issue. My screen zoom is normal at 100% and I don’t use a mouse (laptop mouse pad).
Argggghhhh!
Ed, I’m sorry to hear you are having the same problem as I was! I can walk you through how to fix it if you are using chrome.
Open a new tab, type in “chrome:plugins” in the address bar. If you need to, in the upper right corner there is a details button that will show you more info on the plugins in your browser. The first 2 should be flash. There will be a blue link in each one that says either enable or disable. For me, the bottom one was the only one enabled when I was having problems, so I disabled it and enabled the top one instead and that fixed my problem with it in chrome. Hopefully it will work for you too.
Thanks Jananae. What I’ve discovered is the problem is with the most recent version of Flash that gets automatically updated for Chrome. Also, it only happened on my Vista machine. I have 2 Win 7 machines that had no issues.
I deleted flash and downloaded the most recent older version, and that fixed the problem. I only had one flash entry in my plugins.
