It’s set solid in Adventure mode and I want to change 2 plants.

Tom replied 8 years ago

In Adventure mode you have 6 slots for your plants (compared to 4 in Survival mode) so you won’t be able to select your plants until you have over 7 plants to select from.

I hope this helps and good luck!

Thank you, Tom, for such a quick reply. Problem is, ALL my slots are filled BUT I didn’t use the free one or the cheaper 25 one.when I selected the plants. I need the free one for sure to gain levels. How do I get rid/cancel two of the selected ones so I can replace it with the freebie? In other words, I must delete 2 of the “solidly placed” plants. How?

I’d suggest to let the zombies eat your brain and start anew.

Thank you. I’m at level 7 and there’s no way to go any higher without the freebie plant and the cheapest one. Only way possible would be to clear my stats (where’s Java when you need it?). and there’s no way to do that with Flash.

The puff-shroom (0 sun) and sun-shroom (25 sun) are only available when you reach the night levels in adventure mode so they’re unavailable on daytime level 7. You’re also not able to reset your progress in adventure mode so at that level you must win with the given plants.

My general strategy for that level is to plant 2 or 3 sunflowers on the left side until the first zombie appears at which point you can block him with a wallnut on the right side. Collect sun to plant a peashooter on the left side to defeat it and then repeat the process to plant sunflowers until the next zombie appears, block it with a wallnut on the right side and then it’s planting peashooters & sunflowers on the left side and wallnuts on the right but also use the Gourd to place on the second column from the right to defeat Conehead zombies and between those four plants it’s usually enough but near the end of the round you may have enough sun to use the cherry bomb which also works well.
The only other trick I use for this level is that if a pole-vaulter zombie starts coming in on a row without a wallnut then I’ll plant a sunflower in front of it because once it vaults over it it’s then as slow and weak as a regular zombie which means the peashooter(s) will take care of it.

Good luck!
