I was gone on vaation for a week. My pogo mail has 80 messages in it and I got the warning that I was approaching 100. However, I can’t get anything to delete.
1) When you have the message open, there is a delete key along the top of the message (along with other options). You can click that and the message should be removed.
2) When you are looking at your full Inbox, there are small square boxes next to each message. Click the boxes for those messages you want to delete. A green check mark will appear. If you change your mind about a particular message, click the box again to remove the check mark. Once you have the messages marked which you want to delete, you can click the “Delete” button right above your list.
Note: You can access and retrieve recently deleted messages using the “deleted” link on the left. However, only 20 messages are kept in the Deleted folder at any one time.
Make sure you are back in your Inbox when you are viewing your messages – it could be they have been completed but you are in the wrong list.
If you have tried all these things, then yes – I agree with Ed that you need to go to Pogo CS.
I actually had this pop up last week. You wouldn’t happen to be on a Mac with Safari? I was trying to delete old messages by using the checkbox and Delete option and the page would reload telling me I hadn’t clicked anything. Later that night I was using the Vista/Firefox machine we have and remembered I hadn’t cleared my inbox and it worked just fine from there. I did not, however, try Firefox on the Mac, which might have worked. Maybe this will shine some light?
If you want to delete several messages at one time, at the same time you are clicking on the little boxes hold down the control key. Then when you have finished checking all the boxes you want to delete click on the delete key.
I have never had to hold down the control key to click multiple boxes on my mail list before deleting. But I would certainly give that a shot if I were having trouble getting them to delete! Could be a browser glitch, too. Lately, it seems like alot of weird little Pogo troubles have been resolved by switching browsers, at least for a little while.
Sounds like a customer service question
Hi Sandy. There are two ways to delete messages:
1) When you have the message open, there is a delete key along the top of the message (along with other options). You can click that and the message should be removed.
2) When you are looking at your full Inbox, there are small square boxes next to each message. Click the boxes for those messages you want to delete. A green check mark will appear. If you change your mind about a particular message, click the box again to remove the check mark. Once you have the messages marked which you want to delete, you can click the “Delete” button right above your list.
