anyone having trouble with mahjong garden freezing up after the message ‘restoring game progress’ appears?
Sounds like it’s not a widespread problem since no one else has chimed in yet.
When games are freezing, not loading, or otherwise not working it’s pretty hard to community-troubleshoot here because it’s really between your computer and Pogo’s web site. Clear your browser’s cookies and temporary files, try another browser if that doesn’t work, and if you still can’t get things to work right, contact Pogo’s customer support. It may be a bug that is specific to your particular setup or might be a problem that they can help you solve through settings. Their “call me” option is probably your best bet if it’s available to you when you submit a help request.
Mahjong Garden not only is freezing up, but when you get to Temple Pig to play the game on Normal as is the requirement for Coral Badge you are unable to win the game after playing 18 times, so if you play it on Easy you get Pig and then you can resume playing on Normal for the next game. This is happening on every other game in Garden for this Coral Badge for Mahjong Garden. Pogo really needs to check Mahjong Garden Normal Temple so other Pogo players are not having this same problem as others as well as myself.
I have the same issue with the “Restoring Game Progress” error. I have been unable to play Mahjong Garden HD for a month. I too had the settings at Normal>Temple, but was on the “Monkey” layout when It crashed (for that Coral Badge as well). On August 13, EA Help opened a ticket for me and I’m told my case has been “escalated” past the “Specialist” who contacted me directly via email. I’m still waiting. The funny thing is that I am able to play the game just fine on my Mac, my iPad and on a PC if I log in as my daughter or as a “Guest.” I am only experiencing the freezing on my account, so they concluded that the problem isn’t my hardware.
