Lately I’ve been getting the lost connection to server message from POGO. This happens several times a day and my internet connection is fine. Also, I’ve found POGO to be very slow. Takes forever for a game to load. I’m using IE, which worked fine just a week ago. Just wondering if anyone else is having this problem. thanks.

Yes, I am having that problem. I’ve been playing Perfect Pair a lot, which seems to come with it’s own unique “playing” problems.
I tried to follow the directions Pogo provides for that game, but the directions appear to be antiques – relating to the way computers used to be.
It seems to me that it’s been happening since I updated my Flash player, which was only a version behind.
I’m hanging in there, just doing all the usual clearing/cleaning/updating, as I’ve found that usually these things clear up rather quickly when it’s a Pogo problem.
Good Luck!

RyzandShyn – Perfect Pair is a java game, so your Flash should have nothing to do with it.

Yes, the Java box was bringing up all sorts of null/failed/exception messages when I tried playing consecutive games of Perfect Pair. As long as I refreshed for each game, it worked well. (I hated losing the hearts I had gained thus far in the games Java punked out on ).
Aside from the Perfect Pair problem, I also experienced some lost connections and general slow loading after doing the Flash download/update. Not blaming that, but that’s the only different thing I did.
In the past, I’ve had problems which I thought were on my end only and pull my hair out trying different things only to have it all clear up because it turned out to be a Pogo thing. Now I remember to read the forums first to see how wide-spread something is being discussed before the hair pulling commences :)
So far today I have no problems. But then again, I finally finished the long and windingPerfect Pair badge..lol.

The only box I ever get, and it’s rare, is the one when I have to click “do not block”.

Yes, I’ve been having the same problem. The last 2 weeks I lost the connection twice while in the middle of the badge challenges. Very irritating. Three weeks ago I lost my power twice, for just a long enough period to shut off my power strip. But the last 2 weeks it’s been losing the server connection. Both times it was while I was playing one of the HOG’s. I know they are Flash games, but the only change I made during that time was to get the latest Java Update. Very strange.

Moms ….
That’s weird. Every time I play a Java game, a small box with the Java icon appears on the bottom toolbar of my computer. I can click on it to bring it up. It’s maybe a 3inchX3inch box, and it shows a verification of the Java version, then the game loading, line by line of what I guess is “code” although the words in it are English and it’s readable.
It’s interesting if nothing else.

I chose not to have the icon on my bottom bar.

Suz,
Oh well then, that explains why you don’t see the box…lol.
Have a good one –
