I was at rank 35 and now I am back to 1. Tech help said they knew nothing of this issue but it’s all over the forums, is this happening to anyone else and do you know when it will be fixed?

If it’s all over the forums then you are not the only one.

The sad part is that it may never be fixed. And Pogo can not / will not reset ranks for any individual player. That has always been a Pogo rule.

Very sad to hear this. I wrote for a friend that thi happened to and if pogo can’t fix it they are going to lose another paying member and I can’t blame her since she spent every day for months to get to that rank 35 and now to be told she has to start over again is crazy.

I’m staying away from all the new embedded games until this is fixed. I read Bejeweled Twist, Zuma and maybe Slingo also have problems.

I’ve been playing Bejeweled Twist and my ranks reset this past week. I was only at rank 14 so it wasn’t a big deal. And I’m playing just to see how far I can go in levels, so it really didn’t affect what I’m doing.

On 8/5 I got my rank 10 badge in Bejeweled Twist…on 8/3 I reached rank 1. My badge is still in my book. I am on my way back up again. Made it to level 73 and had a brain fart and lost all my stuff when a bomb blew me away. Soooo…starting over in this on is not new to me.

My rank 10 badge from BT (earned in July) is still there also. I just reached level 130 and back up to rank 6, I think :)

Well it seems like the games they are having issues with are the flash games so I guess until pogo acknowledges they have a problem it’s best to not play them? Good luck everyone!!

Here’s the response from Pogo’s customer support:

I can understand how disappointing it must be, losing stats due to technical reasons. I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused due to this.

We have reported by a number of players experiencing the same issue. The development team is aware of it and is working for a resolution. We appreciate your patience while the issue is being looked into. Please keep an eye on Pogo new section and Pogo forum to get latest update on this issue.

Unfortunately, Pogo representatives do not have the ability to edit or change player’s ratings, stats or ranks, for any reason. Our system is fairly complex. So, we haven’t found a good way to do this yet. As a result, we unfortunately can’t return your lost ratings, regardless of the circumstances that caused the loss.

(Thanks to Ann for sending it in.)

And that is why I didn’t even bother to complain. That has always been their response.

I’m at level 135 on BT and back up to rank 8. Thankfully I only lost 14 ranks when this happened last week.
