I am not sure exactly what you are asking – Are there Pogo cheats out there? Yes, there are. Are they against Pogo’s TOS? Yes, they are. If you are asking if a particularly cheat is a scam (doesn’t do what it claims it will do), I think we would need to have more info from you.
I have heard there is a cheat for almost every game. I don’t know if that is true, because I have never been interested in cheating at a Pogo game. Kind of defeats the purpose, for me.
If you are asking if certain sites that claim to have cheats or secrets are legitimate, again, I think we would need to know what sites you are talking about. And then hope someone might know something about them. lol
A “secret” tip to help you play a game may be one thing, but a “cheat” – even taking advantage of a Pogo glitch – is against their TOS, which can lead to losing your account if caught, and you definitely would forfeit any jackpots you may win if they determine it was due to an automatic cheat program installed on your computer.
Thanks. I was just wondering if they were scams like the offers for free tokens and gems I’ve been seeing lately. I’m not one for cheating takes the fun out of playing in my opinion.
thum4, thanks for clarification. I have known people who have bought some of the cheat programs and never heard any complaints that they got “cheated” by the company that sold it to them. I have never heard horror stories of having accounts or computers hacked by these companies, or having to give up your password like the free token scams always do. The cheat program companies are selling a service and people who want that kind of service seem to be fairly happy with the products they buy.
Basically, the companies aren’t trying to steal something from their customers. They are selling a product.
Where the scam comes in is I believe these companies may tell prospective buyers that Pogo doesn’t mind these kinds of programs. They don’t tell them, for instance, they are against Pogo’s TOS or that the users risk losing their Club accounts, including all ranks, badges & mini items, if caught using them.
I want to be clear that I’m just answering the question to the best of my ability. Like you, I see no point in them at all and am certainly NOT condoning their use simply because the cheats aren’t an outright “let me steal their money” scam.
I agree with Shel that there is a difference between cheating-installing a program on your computer that will play for you and coming to BH for tips and tricks. For example, the ranking up in Bloop faster. It’s not cheating. But finding a program to play poppit for you is. And there are a bunch of them out there.
Thanks pastorpapa for a great example. I just couldn’t get one to come to mind. The Blooop “secret” for ranking up faster still has us playing the game ourselves. It is a perfect example. Also, people can probably tell what is a “good” secret vs a “bad” cheat by the cost involved. Good tips and secrets shouldn’t involve having to pay someone for them. lol
FOR SURE, 100%, ABSOLUTELY, POSITIVELY……….SCAMS!!! Run for your life…don’t go ANYWHERE near them!!!
On a more serious note…IF…Pogo somehow becomes aware that you’re using a “cheat sheet/program” you could get BANNED. It’s against Pogo TOS.
Sometimes just visiting the site could get you “related” scammers that will flood your Inbox with SPAM. My advice….STAY AWAY!!!
