As of this evening I’m having problems getting into the “embedded” games. A box “pops” up and says ~~~fb connect library is missing (all.js) ~~~ after X-ing out the box I go to the game but I’m not allowed an access to the “chat rooms” ~~ I can only play the one set up. OK ~~so, I try “HELP” with POGO and am not allowed in to “Origin” b/c they say I’m not registered. !!! I’ve always been able to get to an advisor for help !! I’m beginning to wonder what is going on with my membership with POGO !!! Has Facebook taken over the favorable position for service. ?? Anyone know what to do /or has anyone had these problems?

I am having the same problem. I have tried the POGO help but no one ever answers my questions or requests for help. About to give up on POGO after 8 years of Club Pogo.
raggedyann: when you log into EA’s Origin system are you using your Pogo username and password? Your email address won’t work.
Here’s a guide I wrote that might help:
http://www.badgehungry.com/2012/02/08/how-to-get-help-with-pogo-2012-edition/
I can’t log into EA either, the option for loggin in is a dead link.
I wrote to editor@pogo.com to get assistance. I ought to get a response within a day or 2 I imagine
Their response was, go to EA help.
I just went in (Sunday 5:30 PM eastern time) to Help and signed it right away, no problems. I’m running Windows 7 and using Internet Explorer 9 as my browser.
You have to use a Windows app called Origin. Otherwise there is no Pogo help available.
Synth: that’s not true. Origin is EA’s digital content manager (for lack of a better explanation right now) and it’s got built-in access to support, but so does Pogo’s web site. You will have to log in through the Origin-branded login at EA/Pogo’s help site, but you’re not required to download anything.
I’m just as frustrated with (the lack of) customer support as anyone else, but let’s not spread rumors that make the situation to appear even worse than it actually is.
Okay, I wasn’t meaning to “spread a rumor” The page they give me says “download Origin” and it is an exe file. I found this in asking “How to Log In using Origin”
Here is the page, I am not spreading any rumor….
https://help.ea.com/article/how-to-create-your-origin-account
Synth: The search result you got was not related to Pogo, although I understand how you were served that particular page because of the question you asked. (Origin is a product unto itself, separate from Pogo, but that’s EA’s branding problem not yours.)
Yes, you can download Origin and use it to access EA support, but that’s not the part I take issue with. You stated “you have to use a Windows app…” and “Otherwise there is no Pogo help available” which is totally untrue. Help is available on the web site and the majority of Pogo users will not want to download software to access support.
This is how rumors get started and I’m trying to put a stop to it before I get 30 panicked emails about how Pogo is canceling live chat and you have to download random apps to access help and did you know Pogo and Facebook just signed a 5 year contract? Don’t believe everything you read, even things that EA’s own web site offers as a search result.
Thank you Lura. I was not aware of Origin at all till I read about it myself here from other members.
I’m done with this, good luck to everyone in finding Pogo/EA help. :)
