A recent security improvement to Pogo servers isn’t compatible with older versions of iOS. If your iPhone or iPod Touch is running a version of iOS older than 4.0 (released June, 2010), you need to perform a software upgrade on your device in order to continue signing in to Pogo. To perform the upgrade, simply plug your device into your PC or Mac (using the USB cable the device came with) and run iTunes. iTunes will inform you that new software is available and you can follow the on-screen instructions to install it.
From reading that you need to have iOS 4 or newer. I’m running iOS 6, never did the update to 7 b/c of the problems signing in.
But if you have already updated to iOS7 you can not roll it back to 6.
Moms I am still wishing I had not done the update to 7 since the app doesn’t show the entire screen. It wouldn’t have made much difference for me as I also mostly use it for the Pogo app and taking an occasional photo
I know from posts that you are usually one of the first to update and can let us know about potential problems (I really appreciate that too thanks) and I am not usually one of the first, but for some reason I did the ios update and again if I could go back in time………..
I have upgraded both my iPhone and iPad to 7.1.1 and have no issues with the Pogo app at all. I always do my upgrades directly on my devices through settings/general/Software update and have never plugged them into my laptop to access iTunes since it is not a mac. The pogo app is archaic compared to other mobile game sites and in my opinion, it needs a complete redesign to work properly.
Actually, since the OP didn’t specify what device they use, I wasn’t able to customize their answer but posted a more generic reply. LOL
I’m hoping that some information that’s posted on BH will be helpful, if not to
the OP, then perhaps another player will benefit. Thanks for your help, Moms.
None of the iDevices have the option to change the size of the Pogo Games app screen. I have an iPod and iPad, and know someone with an iPhone and iPad Mini.
What iDevice have you been able to change the screen size on when on the Pogo games app?
I have the ipad mini not with retina display. The way I understand it, that idevice is working properly. Haven’t done any further with this as I have gone back to my Kindle to play and use the ipad mini for the badges (that’s really sad)
From the Games App FAQ…..

Awesome and thank you so much for the reply. Have a good one :)
You’re very welcome.

misspogo – To this day I don’t know why I held off updating my iPad. I’m always the first to do any update.

If you change your zoom or reset your settings, you should be able to re-size your screen. Try powering down your device, completely shut down.
Also, Apple has a very user friendly website where you can find answers, manuals (guides) & support. That could be helpful to you. Good luck!
Actually on the games app for an iPad all you get is the regular screen or the X2, no other options.

I agree MsPatMac, but since the Pogo games app doesn’t bring in any revenue, so the chances of them doing anything to it is slim and none.
