Flo’s career. I would also suggest starting a new game once you finish a few rounds as the early rounds are much easier with the later ones almost impossible. This will help you greatly with badge progress.
The game actually does get easier once you get the podium. At the beginning of the round, just stand at the podium for a long time until your customers are stacked up and out the door. Right after the hearts get replenished, seat only four groups at a time, hopefully all of the same type of customer. Start with the business women, college students or Mr. Big’s (the more impatient ones) and leave the girls and the seniors in line. Then take all four orders, go stand at the podium, serve all four their food, then go stand at the podium. Keep doing each step at each table, followed by replenishing the hearts at the podium. This strategy will work all the way through the last level.
I’ve said it before, but I’ll say it again: I’ve been told by Pogo’s customer service that since this fall they are no longer recording ranks and awarding badges or mini items for Diner Dash. It has been a while since they “supported” the game or sold it, but according to CS they have stopped connecting with the game what so ever. I went through CS and fought for almost a month because I noticed I was not receiving rank progress and did, finally, receive the Mini items and badges I was missing. I don’t know if they have changed their policy or not, but I am just repeating my story. Maybe they turned the ranking back on, maybe they didn’t, but I’m done with the game.
And yes, rank progress was in career and it was per jackpot spin earned. You could replay the first restaurant over and over again and still rank up, no need to pull your hair out on some of the other levels after you had been through them once.
