I was a pro at the old Pogo Bowl but the new directional changes have thrown off my toss. It seems the harder the ball is thrown the greater the chance of getting a strike in the right position. However, the line that forms from where you set your ball and aim backwards towards to the pins cools down really fast (goes from red to yellow in less than a couple seconds). I can get a strike about half the time even if this speed line is solid yellow if I hit aiming for the 8 pin on the left or 9 pin on the right but I run hot and cold a lot. I get about three strikes just throwing crazy without aiming much but that’s no good either.
Has anyone worked out a system and possibly a trick to add speed to their aim?
Thanks!
That’s not for the new version, and that’s what the OP was having problems with.
Thank you! Was not aware of any problems. Thou, it may be of some use for it gives somewhere to start. Sometimes just watching something and trying different methods can bring you to the end result you are looking for.
I don’t have an answer, just an observation. Seeing this question is just another reminder of how lazy pogo has become with badge creation. I’m not a big fan of pogo bowl, the new version even less, so would only play for a badge. I basically forgot the game until seeing Martoman’s question.
I just can’t wait for Boggle Bash to come out :-)
Try changing the method you throw the ball to Tap based ( click on the gear when in game) this will give you time to line up your shot…then click on the lane to reset the throw meter to max for a hard throw before you click on the release button…it will not give you the great games you had before but you’ll squeek out a few strikes n the occasional turkey.
