Removing animals is done by matching 2 of the same animal. That’s how Mahjong Garden is played, regardless.

Each animal is a game. You need to win 25 games for this badge.

Remember to change your difficulty level to medium.

It is also required that you use the “Pogo” tiles, not the regular ones. But you can use any tiles you wish and change to the Pogo tiles right before you make your last move. I will warn you that you may forget, been there, done that, have the t-shirt….LOL But I am so used to using the regular tiles that I have a hard time with the other sets, so this is what I always do.

Animals that end up in the menagerie on the left side panel occur in 2 halves in the puzzle. Other game tiles are exactly alike, so the animal tiles are fairly easy to differentiate. One you match each animal half, that animal is added to the menagerie on the left side of the game and counted toward the badge.

This is a Mahjong Garden badge, not Mahjong Safari.

When you first enter the game, there will be an option box to click on to start the game. Click on “Tiles” first. The next box will say “Select a Tile Set” across the top and “Select a Puzzle Set” in the middle of the box.

At the top, you use the right or left arrows to scroll through possible Tile choices. In this case, you need the Pogo tile set either right from the beginning or before finishing the puzzle as Moms said above. (I always choose it at the beginning because I am the type to ALWAYS forget to change it before finishing the game.)

Then you need to move down to the Puzzle Set choices and select “Animals” for this badge. That is usually the default on the game, but if you are having trouble it could be you set it once for Temples and need to set it back.

You also need to remember to switch the difficulty setting to “Medium” which is found above the Who’s Here in this game.

Even thought the game is timed, it doesn’t matter for this badge so don’t worry about how long the game may take. Also, if you have trouble on the higher difficulty levels, feel free to use the “hint” button over & over because, again, you don’t need to worry about your score to earn this badge.
