when i try to send a 5 day pass to my free acct it asks for a promotional code {which is already there} but when i click ok it says the code is not valid.
I tried to send a few friends some free passes and they all got the same message you do. I checked with CS and this is what I was told: Only ONE FREE PASS PER S/N PER YEAR. They keep a record of this because they checked all the names I gave them and said the recipients had already used their “quota”.
Your best bet is to have multiple (if you have the time for it) s/ns. But remember the ONE PASS PER SN ONLY, so it doesn’t get frustrating. GL!
Mem is right, however the thought occurred to me that the code could also be off if you haven’t sent a pass to this account before. Many browsers like to auto complete a form and might put in an old code you’ve had before. Just another idea of what might be wrong, but I’m guessing you’ve just already used a pass on that account.
