I struggle understanding these 2 badges in Flower Daze:

From http://www.badgehungry.com/game-ranks/flower-daze-ranks/

Go With the Flow Badge – Play 5,000 games to earn this badge!

Power to the Flower Badge – Win 5,000 or more games with 50% or more of the wins involving a power-up!

Playing 5,000 games seems like more than I could do in 2 lifetimes with this game- much less winning 5,000 of them with x% using power-ups.

A Pogo friend of mine ranked this game out and told me she only had about 2,000 games played and less than 1,000 wins with a power-up!!! So she will have to play another 3,000 games past ranking out to get the 5,000 game badge? And how many of those games will be wins with power-ups?

Am I missing something here????

No, it’s like a lot of the in game badges. There are quite a few games that you could rank out more than twice before getting the last in game badge.

Without looking I can think of EWB, Boggle Bash, Jigsaw Treasure Hunter.

It’s easy, just use a power up every game.

Most of the time I can win this game without needing to use the power up but with the Power to the Flower badge in mind I am trying to remember to use a power up every single game. Hopefully I should get both of these badges at about the same time using this strategy.

Ed, I fell into the same trap as your friend, ranked out but no where near the two special badges. If you are just starting out in the game, you will rank out faster playing on hard but you only get 1 power up per game, be sure to use it.

If you have ranked out already, play on easy as you will receive two per game and it will go faster.

Been thinking about mspatmac answer.
I play on hard level and use the power-up everytime, even if I don’t need to, just because of the Power to the flower badge. Playing on hard level is much more easier, at least for me, and guarantees a win every game or almost.

Requirements says: Win 5,000 games with 50% or more of the wins involving a power up.
If I understand correctly you need to win 5000 games and use a power up 2,500 or more times.

So, IMO no matter what level you play, easy, medium or hard you still need to win 5000 games.

Let’s say you win every single game you play, playing on easy will give you 5000 wins and 10,000 power-ups used, but you only need 2500.
So I don’t see why playing on easy will make badge go faster, more if you consider that winning on easy is harder.
