You don’t have to allow any outside tracking to be done at all. If your browser or internet security suite has a feature called “DO NOT TRACK” or a similar name, you can tweak the settings for this feature (otherwise it is automatically on the default settings which allows FB etc) so all the boxes of known trackers are ticked, save it, close it and close your browser/s. Refresh the screen and re-open the browser/s. If you have trouble getting a game to load on Pogo like i did try closing the browser again and clearing the Java cache (temporary files under the general tab in java) then re-open the browser and try to play a game. You may or may not get a box alerting you to the fact that “fbconnect library is missing (all.js)” if you do just click ‘OKAY’. The same warning may also appear when you start/load the game, again just click ‘OKAY’ – yes these 2 boxes are annoying but the way i figure it is better than FB, twitter and who knows what else company tracking you. Plus this technology seems to be reasonably new (it only came with the last huge security suite update i got a couple of weeks ago) so i guess the browsers (such as firefox who has this feature too but i find it is very weak compared to this feature in my security suite) and security suites will be improving them in time.
You don’t. There are many Club Pogo players that are not on FB that play.
