i know they don’t sell the downloadable games now..so if you had the monthly pass thing where you got a free game or games are you still able to get a free game? also if you downloaded a game to try before buying, are you still able too buy it even though they don’t have the downloadable games? and does your credit card still take money out for that monthly thing? hope I’m explaining what I mean.
Pogo sold those games in partnership with iWin. That partnership ended, and here is Pogo’s article about the transition. However, iWin still exists, so if you had a trial they may have made it so you can purchase it from iWin directly.
For download games, though, my go-to site is Big Fish Games (purchases made from this link may pay a small commission to BadgeHungry). Every game comes with at least a 1-hour free trial and there are coupon codes all the time that can save you lots of money if you decide to buy a game. (You can get all the coupon codes at CasualWish.)
thanks Lura……only thing is with big fish you can’t get a copy disc of the games you purchase. but at least if a game disappears on that site, you can always get it back…
I hear ya. I think it’s a very rare thing that a company offers backup cds anymore! What I just set up for myself with my Big Fish Games is I now install/play/store them on a 4TB external hard drive. I wrote about it here, if anyone is interested.
thanks lura…big fish is a good site..i like the fact you can always recover a missing game.
lura, with the big fish game site. if someone puts their acct. on hold and reactivate it are they still able to get the free games that they have on their acct? also where is the search button to see if they have a game a person likes? I used to like the manor memoirs series they had and farm makeover series..i wish they had ranks for their games.
