I’m interested in finding out more about it too in the next Blog.
Last time she referenced both a Sweet Tooth Town event and a Cupcake event. Since they have that bakery shop that looks like a cupcake in Sweet Tooth Town, it took me a minute to realize they are two separate events.
I thinking the cupcakes might be another bundles badge collection? One where the badges depict all sorts of cupcakes? I do like me some cupcakes!
They don’t have cupcakes in Crazy Cakes. The early levels have cookies and muffins. I haven’t gone past level 17 or 18, but the old version had pies. I think there were more options, but there were no cupcakes in the Java version.
The old version called them muffins but the new version has cookies, cupcakes, pudding, doughnuts and pies (so far anyway). My crib sheet shows cupcakes start at level 6 and is a favorite food of the dwarfs that start that level.
I’m past there and I swear it was a muffin…lol
I remember a letter to the editor, years ago, where they got into a discussion about the difference between a muffin and a cupcake. I don’t remember if Tahd was still here, or if it was Bret. It ended with the bakers winning saying that a muffin didn’t have frosting, and a cupcake did.
I wish I could remember some things rather than that :)
It starts April 22nd in Sweet tooth Town. Info is on home page classic pogo site under latest news.
No, it’s not in Sweet Tooth Town. It’s a Magic Marathon with a theme, Antoinette’s Bake Shop.
Pogo is giving up 30 recipe challenges for fee, we can buy an additional 30 recipe challenges, and we can earn up to 5 completion badges…for a total of up to 65 badges.
Magic Marathons usually run for 4 weeks, and this one starts on April 22nd.
It should read they are giving us 30 recipe challenges for free.
Typing before coffee is never good :)
LOL – It was me and I think Bret who got into that discussion. The badge said “cupcakes” and I wrote in saying that CLEARLY they are muffins. He disagreed. I told him ok, then, you bring muffins instead of cupcakes to school when your kids get older and are having a “school birthday” and see what happens…lol! It looks to me like the Sweet Tooth Town event and the Cupcake even might be one in the same thing.I can’t imagine what it is from the blurb they wrote, but that’s nothing new – they’ve needed a proof reader forever.
I don’t like the sound of it though, it sounds like Magic.
I think they are 2 entirely different things.
The 4 week marathon is a themed Magic Marathon. It looks like we are going to get cupcake recipes with our badges :)
The Sweet Tooth Town event will be a Town Hall event, 5 puzzles where you can earn unlimited chocolate coins if you do it right. You have to win all 5 in a row to complete it. But if you need coins you can lose a higher level and start over…usually as many times as you like. We usually get a badge also.
I hope they are two separate events. I like piling up my chocolate coins even though I have no intention of buying anything more than what I already have in Sweet Tooth Town. Kind of like Yertle the Turtle – sit atop my large pile of Chocolate Coins and look down upon my town as it is…lol.
