i can’t remember if i saw this question in pogo forums or here,but i didn’t get to read what the answer was. I’ve went into the forums a couple of times, but since i found this site i don’t need to go elsewhere! Badge Hungry & this one is soooooooooo magnicent!!!!! In the mornings, instead of going into pogo, i go to Badge Hungry first & then here. Everyone here is nice & so knowledgeable. I just wanted to know if we can ever change our user names because of a personal situation. Any answers will be greatly appreciated! Thanx!!

At this time we are not able to change our s/n and keep our tokens/ranks/badges. I think a few have written this suggestion to the editor to have the option to change our s/n at least 1x in the life of our membership. So it might help to write into the editor but for the time being the answer is no :(
Honey to the best of my knowledge: No…I don’t think you can change your name whatever the reason for the change. You can have multiple free (or paid) user names, but cannot change the existing one without losing all the tokens, badges and other things that go with it. In other words, you start from the ground up with a new account.
I recall someone writing on a fairly recent Weekend thread how someone reported her to Pogo for having an “indecent” name, when all it was, was the name of a certain breed of dog. She had to get “outside intervention” to keep her Pogo screen name.
This is just my opinion and I could be way off base. Why don’t you try asking CS…they should know for a fact if you can or can’t. GL Honey…I hope you get your wish!
The only time that Pogo will consider changing your ID and allowing you to keep your tokens and badges is if you are being stalked. This has to be documented, not just someone following you from room to room.
No, that is not possible. The dog breed mentioned is Bichon. No ‘t’ in there. (But pogo freaked and put their customer thru hell for no reason.)
A part of being stalked just like Moms said, if Pogo consider your name is unappropiate or indecent, yes you can change your user name, in fact Pogo is going to ask you to pick a new one and they change it.
This happened to someone in my friends list. Her name was (xwords)JERK, despite the J word, it was a fun name, but I think someone reported her and Pogo asked her to chose a new one, so she kept part of it and added another word and ended up with (xwords)magic.
She kept all her tokens, badges…everything. I found out when checking my friends list to see who was on, I saw her and at first I wondered Who is this? but not hard to guess because she kept part of her old name so I went to where she was and asked is that you xxx? She said yes, Pogo made me change my name.

Pogo claims that they do not possess the capability of changing a screen name. However, I would gander that they do make exceptions (as indicated above)
