I had to get a new PC and I need the strings used to block all instances of Facebook on Pogo. On my old computer I had a txt file of these but everything was lost and stupid me didn’t upload a backup copy of that txt file to the Internet somewhere for safe keeping.
What I’m looking for are the *facebook.com* strings that are manually entered into Adblocker Plus’ filter preferences. I found a few on the Pogo forums but they aren’t blocking everything.
I’d be eternally grateful to anyone who has a complete list that will take the evil that is FB away from my Pogo-ing. lol
Thanks so much, Jennifer

I don’t have the answer to your question but I want to take a moment to share this article:

I am all for blocking sites you dislike (like Facebook) but please consider disabling AdBlock for BadgeHungry.

This site is supported by ad revenue. It’s the only reason I’ve been able to keep the site running for so long and at the quality you’ve come to expect. Thank you.
I was looking for something else and happened upon this:

Perhaps it will help you. Good luck.
Lura, Maybe you should consider a donate link say to PayPal. Not everyone will be able or willing to donate but I think the majority of users here would. Even a couple of bucks now and then would help.
Stoney, Lura does have Pay Pal set up in BH.

Thanks Brenda. I had never noticed it before.
You’re welcome stoney. I do a lot of searching, I’m the curious type ;)
Lura,
I use Adblocker for sites that I’m new to that I don’t know if I can trust yet or for sites that I know I can’t trust or are so full of pop-ups and the like that I can’t get to the content for the ads. Once I know a site is trustworthy and I know it is ad supported, I allow all ads to show. I like blocking Facebook off Pogo because I find it annoying and it disrupts my “Pogo experience”. lol
Since I trust BadgeHungry 100% I guarantee you I’m seeing ads on the blog and will continue to. :-)
Thanks Jennifer!
