why couldn’t pogo added xps to their pogo page i know and i’m sure eveyone else has more tokens then they could have spend i think the daily specials on pogo page is a waste
It’s about balance. Pogo discovered that Club Pogo members were feeling neglected because all of these “free” incentives were being offered to non-paying members who utilize Facebook. Pogo has come forward to admit that they must focus resources on the social networking site because they believe such trending affects their very survival. Do they remain independent of the bandwagon and regret a missed opportunity? Or do they attempt to divert resources to Facebook in an effort to cash in on potential customers (and revenue) like their competitors at Zynga and other firms?
This is a touchy topic and a difficult business model to address. A quantity of paying Club Pogo members feel that their money is not worth renewal because Facebook has been offering perks they cannot take advantage of unless they use that platform. Likewise, others don’t trust Facebook because of privacy concerns, rumors, alleged virus infestation, and other things.
When Pogo rolled out the Daily Specials on Facebook, it was another slap in the face to paying members. Pogo introduced the daily specials to its site as a way to appease members. I suspect that XP points are not added to Pogo because it would redirect traffic from Facebook back to the main site. This would make Pogo lose out on ad revenue and potential backlash should they start entering the market for Facebook credits.
I don’t mind the daily specials on either site. Personally, as I stated on another thread, they’re mind-numbingly easy that you can complete the challenges in your sleep. XP points are like tokens or game ranks to me — they’re worthless in the real world and only serve as a “medal of honor” to display your longevity on the site.
I enjoy doing the daily specials, it is the first thing I do when I sign onto Pogo, it helps wake me up in the morning, and for another 3k, why not, they are super-quick and easy
I love the Daily Specials, though I wish they would expand to using more games than the same ones over & over. I don’t see a point to adding XP points as they mean nothing on Pogo.com, at least not yet.
No ~ love the daily specials ~ but being a badge addict, I like the extra challenges. I fell in love with them on thedark side lol. I personally never have enough tokens so if I can win 1,000 or 2 in a few minutes an extra bonus. I have burt through ALL my tokens @ least 10 times :( So any free or easy count me in LOL
I love the Daily specials! They are really easy and alot of fun & i feel that every little bit helps. I like to give gifts and gift expressions,so if i can play games daily and have 3000 more tokens, i’m all for the Daily Specials!

If they gave out XP points on Pogo.com it would start a riot. People screaming that Pogo is once again pushing FB down their throats.
The daily specials are quick, and if I don’t like the game I don’t do it. I don’t even do the daily specials on FB if I don’t like the game.

I agree Froggy I devoutly ignore them. For some piddly tokies I’d rather go after badges or just play what I like.
