In Crossword Cove, do corrected typos count against “correct letters” for ranks?

Ranking is based on “total correct letters.” If you have to correct a typo, does that disqualify the letters you corrected from being counted toward your total letters for ranks?

I don’t think you’re penalized. I make tons of typos, I think you’re only penalized when you submit the puzzle with errors.

You don’t even submit these new puzzles. As soon as you type in the last letter the score pops up.

There’s an All Done button at the top. Maybe you need that with hard or if you want to end early.

It automatically gives you the score after typing in the last letter, even on hard.

No clue what the “all done” button is for in this version.

That “All Done” button is kind of like the “Easy Spin” in the new Turbo 21 HD. Who cares if you get an “Easy Spin” when there’s no spin to get, LOL. I think they just left in buttons from the old game to mess with us!!! :o) But, I have noticed that the letters won’t turn “yellow” if you have a typo or a missing letter…even on Hard…which is what the old game used to do on Easy and Normal levels. And, it won’t end the game if you don’t have all of the letters “yellow” unless you click the “All Done” button. I like that, but I don’t see much of a purpose to having more than one level or “hints” if you don’t really need them. I just do all of them on hard because I’ve noticed that if you get a hint in a word, you have to click the Enter key 2 or 3 times to make it move to the next word…and that just slows me down! Plus the AWESOME people here on Badge Hungry have done all of the “hard” work and gotten the answers for me.

Thanks very much for the info. My guess about the “all done” button is that it’s there if a player can’t completely solve the puzzle and wants to submit it as-is.
