My second account is currently on a pass but one of the limitations is that some of the Clue Episodes (even ones I’ve completed) I can no longer redo unless it becomes a full member again and those episodes include all of the “Free” Episodes listed for next weeks badge.

I know for sure that episode #29 does as that’s my favorite one to do for tokens.
Thanks, Moms, but the problem is that my second account is on a pass and all of those episodes, even though I’ve completed them all, are now no longer “Owned” according to the game menu and I can’t play them on that account unless I buy them (at non-club prices).
Personally, I won’t have a problem with the badge because I picked up EP5 when there was a promotional offer/settlement in the early days of the game and I also have the Diamonds are Forever Episode from the Dr Pepper promotion and both of those have flashlights in them, but those aren’t available to the general public anymore.
I’d just like to know if there is a real free episode that’ll cover the badge requirements or can we expect a backlash when this badge comes out (unless, of course, pogo changes the requirements)

Tom – I am happy that at least you will not have that problem, but I have been considering not renewing accounts (I have four I pay for) because Pogo is NOT the Pogo I once loved so much. I have spent more than I want to admit on gem items and had no idea that once we allowed our accounts to lapse, that we would lose our Clue, CH, AV episodes that we actually have bought! I have to wonder if that is even legal for EA to do? Is it in their TOS? I wonder if it is just a fluke on Pogo/EA’s end & maybe they should be showing as “owned” – have you contacted CS (I know, I know, lol) & IF you got through, did they mean to delete those?

I opened a “holiday” account and put it on a pass, and there is only 1 episode available for me to play. But I had no intentions of doing badges for that account anyway.
BHF – I believe that it’s in the TOS that Pogo retains the ownership, that’s why you lose your badges (free & premium) when your account lapses.
I thought when you rejoin you get all your badges back. Why wouldn’t you get your Clue badges back too?
Caren – There is a difference between using a free pass and joining by using Coke Rewards or paying.
A free pass gives you limited access. You can’t purchase Club Pogo items in the mini mall. And you also can not use the majority of the Pogo coupons. The only coupon that I have found that works with a free pass is the one for the free mini token item.
I didn’t know this until the other day when I registered ChristmasBasset using a free pass.
BHFan4 & Caren, they don’t take away any badges when you’re account expires. I still have all of the Clue badges that I’ve earned, I just can’t replay those episodes.
I also don’t buy any Clue episodes personally but if I had I’m sure that those would still be considered as Owned by me since even non-club members can purchase them and therefore I would be able to replay those whenever I want. All of the episodes listed for next weeks challenges are free to Club members but, as Moms stated, being on a pass means I’m only a semi-Club member.
I will try contacting Pogo support about this and hopefully they can resolve it otherwise I’m sure both Tahd & Lura are going to be very busy on Wednesday as I’m sure a lot of people are playing on a free pass this time of year.

Thank you very much Moms & Tom. I understand that our albums, M&M’s, etc. would be taken away unless we renew – but am very happy to know that the Clue, CH, AV will still be there for us to play.

Club passes are an opportunity to try out Club Pogo. Not all content is available to those on passes, for example, Club exclusive mini items. While this is the first time it’s affected a badge, it falls under the same category.
However, if you do choose to become a full time member, the badge will still be available to you at a later date to be selected as a personal challenge. Note that badges don’t become available as a personal for 35 days after their release.

I’m surprised that they would actually have a weekly challenge that isn’t “free” for everyone but, of course, there’s always a chance that they’ll change/tweak it before tomorrow.

Tom – I “hear” that the badge will stand. It’s just something that Pogo didn’t think of and it will only affect a very small amount of people.
I think that since this is a PROMOTION for people to experience CLUB POGO games, and hopefully join – leaving them out of this badge would turn them off.
I do think they could & should have included everyone. JMHO
