Can you get more than one mix-n-match badge per game?

I purchased a few mix and match badges. I just recently started playing them. I have achieved 8 out of 10. Why does it still ask me to ACTIVATE badges I already completed. And I just hit activate and it tells me my new stats for earning the badge. Can we get 2,3,4 or more of the same badge?
