I’m helping someone close out their old albums and next week we are doing Checkers. She has to win 3 in a row.

Is there a minimum number of moves necessary before I can resign and give her the win?

I looked on BH main site and Q&A. The only thing I found was from Joe. He said that he thought that each side needed to capture 5 pieces before a resign would work. Has anyone tested that?

Thanks!!!

Maybe this link will help. I can’t remember whether I found the moves on BH or elsewhere, but it is my go-to for checkers and useful for double-browsing or playing with a friend.

They will have to win the game. Just like in chess, resigning the game won’t give credit to the other person.

Most games I know how to lose, but in Checkers they make you take a piece if the move is available. They don’t let you pass them up. So losing can be a challenge….LOL
