Why do we have to buy coins to play games for this weeks daily (peggle slots) and weekly bejeweled 2 slots?  I play then have to wait for more coins. I am NOT wasting my gems to buy something that should be free to play. Very disappointing Pogo.

You don’t.

There are many of us that have been playing these games since they were introduced in March and building up our coins. There have been many articles on how to do this, the latest being this one………

http://www.badgehungry.com/2015/08/27/how-to-build-up-a-stash-of-coins-in-pogo-parlor-games/

After ranking out in all 4 Parlor slot game I still have 3.5 million coins on my main account, and I have NEVER purchased a single coin.

My other 2 accounts have well over 5 million coins each, close to ranking out in the 2nd of the 4 games, and have NEVER purchased a single coin for either of those accounts either.

These games are here to stay and there will be many more weekly, daily, and premium challenges. If you haven’t read how to build up your coins already I would advise you to do so.

And it appears that the next site wide challenge is going to be in these games also.

Good Luck!!

I do not think that is fair.
I do not play any of these games that you chose to make weekly challenges. I only play them because Pogo says so. Now, because I don`t play them, I just have to wait 3 hrs. between turns or buy coins :( Just did a 30 Auto Spin–ZERO matches and no coins left.
I have been a long time member and this year I contemplated doing another year. If I see these games as weekly badges again, I will be canceling my membership. .

Then you will have to go to Pogo and complain. There is absolutely nothing that Badge Hungry can do. Lura has no say in what games are used for weekly badges, or premium badges either. And there WILL be other weekly badges for these 4 games.

I’ll post my steps here for you in hopes of making it easier for you to understand how the coin bucket system works without spending your gems on coins and to help you increase your stash. It’s not hard, and it is kinda fun to watch your stash grow :)
1) Make a note about how many coins you have when you open the game.
2) Refill your empty bucket. Make a note about how many more coins this gives you.
3) Play – I play 200 bets – until you use up ONLY what they gave you in the refill. So, if they give you 5,000 you count out 25 spins at 200 each.
3) Anything you win using that 5,000 is yours to keep.
4) Do the subtraction and see how many extra coins you won.
5) Then you can either quit or play some with the coins you won.
What I do is look where I am, pick a number lower that I’ll stop at and a number higher that I’ll stop at, and keep playing until I reach either one….like if I end at 878 I’ll keep going until I’m down to 850 or up to 900
Hope this helps.

I am NOT blaming Badge Hungry. I think your site is great and have used it for years. Yes, it is Pogo.
Your site helps everybody, I just won`t bother anymore with badges. I play a lot of Facebook games. Thank you for your input, but I think you know what I am getting at….like principle.

I’m all for people standing by their principles (well, only if it’s legal and not violating anyone’s rights). However, you seem to be standing on principles that are not based on fact.
1) You DO NOT have to buy coins to play games. The coins to play the game ARE given to you for FREE every 4 hours, giving you the chance to earn more FREE coins. And you get more FREE coins every 4 hours.
2) You DO NOT have to waste your gems to buy something that should be free because the coins ARE FREE.
3) You don’t have to play any weekly challenge game because “Pogo says so”
You can play or not play any challenge or any game of your liking/choosing.
The choice is entirely yours.

As I said above, saving/building on the free coins isn’t hard or unpleasant. If you choose not to participate, then that’s your choice, but Pogo is certainly NOT requiring it as you seem to believe.

The reason I wrote that Lura or BH had no input on what games are used for the weekly challenges is b/c of what you wrote after my 1st reply to you…..

“I do not play any of these games that you chose to make weekly challenges. I only play them because Pogo says so”

It’s just like any game that Pogo chooses for a weekly or premium badge, some will love it, and some will not. Pogo is not going to please every member no matter what game they pick.

So you either complete the challenge for the badge or you don’t. The choice is always yours, and yours alone.
