I don’t get this. How does it give us 3 more hours per week? Seems it takes 3 hours OFF the previous week’s time to get the badges done. I assume they won’t have 2 weeks worth available at one time. Can someone explain the math here?

It doesn’t really give you three hours more — unless they’re not ending the previous week’s badges any earlier and you’re awake the whole time.

LOL very good point. They will end 3 hours earlier. This is a Pogo duh moment.

psalm233 replied 12 years ago

but if they end it @ the regular time (12m pct) & start the new time @ 5am pct this would work correct? OR am I confused as usal lol

Yecer replied 12 years ago

psalm233 is correct
The end on Tuesday night does NOT back up against Wednesday’s badge ‘start time’. Never has.
So if they still end on 1am Eastern time on Tuesday and start them on 7am (instead of 10am) on Wednesday that IS 3 hours earlier !!

Travlr replied 12 years ago

Thanks for the explanation. Guess I am never up at the cut off time! Early to bed for me.

Wonder if error messages will be up and running that early?

Sheljin replied 12 years ago

Just a slight correction: Eastern end time for weekly badges is 3:00 a.m. Wednesday morning, not 1 a.m. And, yes, sadly, I have been up at that time AND working on badges to experience it personally. lol

for me it’s not really that we are getting extra time to work on badges for the week. For me, being on Central time, when I used to wake up in the morning I would see all the weeklies gone. like they were being reset. I had to wait until 10AM to start working on my weeklies! Now, they are up at 6AM :) Which means I can start working right away :)

playtreasure replied 12 years ago

it does but it doesn’t it all depends on what time you play if you play in the morning then yes it does cause you can start 3 hours earlier but if you play during the day or evening then no it won’t and if you are used to playing after midnight your time and b4 midnight theirs then you can lose hours too
so all depends on the time of day you play and what days i find 7 days more then ample time but then i can play unlimitted i do help friends when they are away and on time restraints anyone who finds not enough time to do the ones coming out now i ask do you remember the dreaded quick quack the 100 spins pogo had to add 3 weeks to that challenge and have you recently tried the 2003 book when i did it i might have liked an extra 3 hours have fun all
