Have you ever used the app on any Android devices? I don’t have a Nexus but I do have both an Android and an iPhone. As far as the Pogo app goes, I think the Android app has been a total disappointment. It doesn’t award badges to your Pogo.com account (even though the challenges and “badge” graphics are the same as on an iPhone) and they haven’t developed Mahjong Safari or Phlinx for it (like they have with the iPhone) so you’re stuck with just the initial games.
If you’re getting a phone and playing the Pogo app is a big consideration in what you choose, go with the iPhone. It’s not perfect but it’s better than the Android version and at least you get badges.
I have not used any app’s on any Android device. My only consideration for the purchase was to have in the car for the kids so my youngest could watch movies or my oldest to read. The perks of this would be having the Pogo app to play and earn badges, but since it seems to so far be a dud I’m in no rush to make a final decision on this. As far as phones go I will save my $$$ while those iphones are nice we are in no rush to get new phone plans.
Thanks so much for the tips Lura.
I agree with Lura…what a disappointment. I have the Android app on my Kindle Fire (that was a big reason I bought it) and in addition to the badges not counting on my account they seldom work right. I was really bummed to find out my app wasn’t the same as the one for the iphone. Good thing I found lots of other things to do on the Fire and I love it.
