Tumble Bees – You just need to continue to play until you find an 8 letter word….remember to look for words where you can add an “ed”, “er”, “ing”, that will increase your chances.
Rainy Day – Completing a puzzle on hard requires a lot of practice. I’m at rank 48 and do NOT play on hard. It took me days to finish the M&M where you only need 3 games on hard.
Here is the link to the tips for Rainy Day…you can find this info for all games by clicking on the tab “Pogo Game Ranks & Badges” at the top of this page or on the main BH site.

Moms is exactly right about the suffixes. If you can find a word with -est or -ing, you only need a 5 letter word. Prefixes work, too, such as dis- or pre-. Also, try and use more than one star if possible. Remember, Tumblebees is different in that the letters available for you to use are all letters adjacent to any letter played. It’s not like Boggle, where you have to play in a line.
As with all word games, the more you play, the more you get used to finding words.
Also, with Tumble Bees, don’t forget about those wildcard star honeycombs, which will allow you to pluralize words or — simply put — make up words. There have been numerous occasions where I will play that game and make large words when using multiple star honeycombs and their built-in dictionary will find a word.
Also, if you play on easy, you will have plenty of time to load up some sort of literati website in another window (such as wineverygame.com) and type in the available letters and let it show you what words are possible.
To add to what pastor said, if you find -ING, look for an s, if you get -INGS, then you only need a 4 letter word to go with it! Other good suffixes not already mentioned are -ERS, -EDS, -TION, -TIONS, Other good prefixes are RE-, UN-, EX-.
Besides prefixes and suffixes, another thing I do is if say I see two 4 letter words there, I will see if I can combine them to make an 8 letter word. For example, I see WORK and OVER as possible words I could submit, well if the tiles are touching I could make the word OVERWORK from them.
