How do you get 3 stars in Cookie Connect Level 10?

I’ve read the comments from BH members on getting the 3 stars in Cookie Connect Level 10, but what I haven’t seen yet is…When you make all the LONG matches, do you use the power-ups arrows/stars etc, and how do you use them? I’ve been trying and trying and trying and the closest I have come is close to 3. :)
