Two of my favorites are The One Hundred Years of Lenni and Margot by Marianne Cronin (which has been reviewed by thousands) and Not Flowers For Charlie by C.M. Turner (which has been reviewed by very few which is a shame and I hope more people discover it).

My favorite book was “We Were Soldiers Once and Young” co-authored by Lt. Gen Harold G. Moore and Joseph L Galloway. It was about the Vietnam War. I saw a story on the History Channel of the meeting of the two Generals from opposite sides of the war meeting at the site of the bloodiest battle years after the war was over. I could only read a few pages at a time because I cried so much I could not see the type. What our young men went through. I was so touched I wrote both authors and to my surprise both wrote back. To this day, I have NEVER seen anyone in uniform without thanking them for their service. The book was made into a movie but didn’t go into the awful details of what our men went through. I is worth the read. I truly believe NO MAN OR WOMAN should be allowed to serve in congress or the senate or be President without at least one enlistment in the service. They need to see what those who serve actually sacrifice.

Anything by James Patterson! I love his books they are easy to read and all have short chapters! 🙂 I also read a lot of Jeffrey Deaver, when I have time, his works are more intense and harder to read.
Have fun, everyone!! )

I also like Where the Crawdads Sing. I have listened to A Gift of Time by Jerry Merritt so many times I think it is engraved on my phone. I also love 11-22-63 by Steven King, and of course Gone with the Wind.

I have too many faves to list, but a most recent one is All the Light We Cannot See by Anthony Doerr. Beautifully written.

All Stephen King and Dean Koontz novels. The movies do not compare to the read of the book and your imagination.
