I have a sassy, 11 pound Yochon (Yorkie/ Bichon) named Ivy. My husband got her for me for Mother’s Day in 2009, she was born Feb 9, 2009. so like me she is old, however I will admit she has handled aging better than I have, she is still full of pep! She is a barker and will bark at anyone who dares walk on her sidewalk. Mind the yard is fenced in and the sidewalk is outside the fence, but that doesn’t matter to Ivy, trespassing is trespassing. When I get weepy and miss my beloved, Ivy is there to jump on my lap and kiss my tears away. I lover her dearly and just wish my health were such that we could still go on the daily walks we both enjoyed. .Did I remember to say Ivy rules the house???

I was a breeder of Bichons way back when they were rare.. They have the sweetest personalities and I always thought of them as golden retrievers in small packaging.

Hi All, The girl that puts out the GB videos did one on Risk. The set up is good, but she played as if she was going for all the territories. DON’T Do That! LOL.(unless you are playing in Classic Mode)
Just keep your Capital with enough on and fortify another one or two of your troops aiming toward going to a Capital. She should have done this very quickly but she didn’t. Especially the last Capital, she had 8 troops and there was only 1 on the capital, she should have taken it and that would have been the end of the game and she would have won. But since she made this I am putting it out for her, Hopefully it will give you some idea for those who are still leery about the game. But my simple explanation that I have in one of the posts and on the badgehungry site seems to be working fine for a lot of people. Good luck.

I am a lover of all animals. Had my kitty furbaby Tuxedo for 22 years, he is over the rainbow bridge now. He passed in 1999 and I still miss him, he was my son. I have a memorial on the rainbow bridge site on the Internet. I have had cats most my life. But the last 10 years I stopped. Can’t take anymore heartbreak when something happens to them!! 🙁
But I do feed the birds, bunnies and squirrels around my yard. I love when they look me straight in the eye asking for a shelled peanut, so cute LOL.. Ohhhh, I think I have gone nuts.. Oh well, haven’t we all, LOL..
Enjoy your weekend everyone.

I”ve had Cats in my life since 1975. til this day ! I am 76 now! Also have had dogs since Iwas 4 yrs old til 2010 . I have had both (2 of each a few times)at the same time for many yrs during the between yrs they were wonderful together. My present 2cats (& 2 before they passed.)are Ragdolls (a docile ,passive ,friendly breed) the type that will come to who ever comes in the house & want to hang out & make a new friends not hid.My small & big grands carry them about with no problem thru the years; never a scratch.I won`t live without.them .With age now I know I can handle the cats easier then dogs ,.I adore my furry loves.Yes, with the lose of a beloved cat or any Pet come sadness but new babies make new joys ,never forgetting the past .I had my last 2 luvs ashes used to make a Glass vase with thier colors & it is my cherished memory.placed in a special spot with care to never be broken.I believe I will be reuinited with all my beloved pets one day & that part of heaven!

I have a Chihuahua mix named Murphy… A neighbor gave him to me a couple of years ago, he’d been abandoned in a car repair shop in North Las Vegas…
I also have three older cats that I inherited from my dear friend, Joyce when she died on Thanksgiving day 2021 at the age of 94… One of the cats, Mr. Grey was already my friend, but the other two Missy, and Candy, weren’t my friends and they still are suspicious of me except when it’s time for the wet food… Mr. Grey, on the other hand, is all over me like a cheap suit which makes Murphy jealous… There is never a dull moment at my house, that’s for sure…

Pure bred Rottweiler puppy, who loves tissues, cardboard, socks, shoes, More toys than all 5 of my children had as a baby, Hates the vacuum cleaner, broom, and mop. knocked me over after I came out of my hot tub and while waiting for an ambulance sucked on my feet, crawled over me and licked my face. But we love our 130 lb. baby.
Has anyone received their Anagrams awards yet?

1 three-year old Chesapeake Bay Lab mixed yellow lab (she is a Dudley) She is a rescue.
2 Finches (male and female)
1 twelve-year old Dove (Found on a road almost dead. We raise him since he was a baby)
3 Family cats all fixed
9 Feral cats all fixed (What a chore getting them trapped to take in to get fixed)
Our twelve-year old lab recently passed from cancer. Miss her so much.
We live out in the country, so there are always stray animals that come to eat, drink, and go on their way. Some stay. One was a rooster. He was so cool until he decided he didn’t like me. We gave him away to a lady that had hens and she wanted a rooster. We also had a turkey that fell off the turkey truck going through town to take to the place they kill the turkeys. So she was lucky. She would follow me all over the land. Then a fox got her.
Happy weekend!

We have a beautiful westie/dalmation rescue that we’ve had 6 years & is spoiled rotten of course, lol. She has the dalmation spots on her bellly so daddy was the dalmation.,

Passed on risk as was lurking in chat & all the complaints convinced me 2 do so as this game is worse than quinna & garden blast plus it takes 4ever just 2 play 1 game & not worth my time or effort.

What a great topic. We had an amazing Great Dane named Cajun who was almost 11 and sadly we had to have him put down 3 weeks ago. He was the sweetest most goofy dog ever. Thought he was a lap dog at 120 pounds. LOL I also have a beautiful cat named Ripley who will be 4 this year. She’s such a loving cat and loves to be the center of attention. She’s my chunky monkey. LOL

I have the best kind of pet. Someone else’s dog. I walk my roommate’s dog. He is a very smart Papillon mix. He is small enough that he won’t drag me down the street. He was a rescue dog about 7 years ago. He is a very good house pet with no bad habits. Best part for me is that since he isn’t mine I never need to worry about going on trips or just out for the day.

I have a lovely little black and white Shih Tzu. He is a rescue, and I got him when he was three years old, with a dangerous and ugly past. He is eleven now and does some social work in the neighbourhood. He gives comfort and companionship and asks nothing in return for them. He is a very good boy, and we are grateful to have him here.
He gets mentioned a lot in the Community WORDLE posts here at BH, and enjoys the publicity.

You forgot to mention that his Wordle name is PuppyToes cus he helps his mom with Wordle by crossing his toes. 🤞 lol

Monopoly Soduko:
I am all built out with hotels and am no longer able to build up any further unless I want to “submit” to Pogo’s “demand” that I become a paid member in order to get unlimited building privileges. So it appears that I am now stuck with over $33 million of funny money and nothing I can do with it. Therefore, it makes no sense to continue playing, right? And I can stop in to “collect” my rents but I still can’t do anything with it, right?
Sal says
Many Pogo Club (paid members) have completed building hotels on all properties also. Never heard of “unlimited building privileges”. Need money (that is limited too) for Airfare to Next City whenever available and they usually play to get in-game badges while waiting.

OK you asked for it.
I started out cpllecting animals as a child with turtles, snakes, hermit crabs (must have 2 they are social), beta fish, 2 white canaries, 2 ducks, 3 chickens (Easter gifts from a no longer friend of my Dad’s LOL) a cocker spanial named Rowdy & he certainly was.AKC registered he won a lot of ribbons. He’s long gone now. Had Tinkerbell a Maine Coon cat (she was a rescue), A hunter so we never had bugs or mice in our house or none that lived. She thought she was a dog & would sit up & beg at dinner time even though she had food in her dish. People food was better. Also if anyone came up the drive Tink would rush to the door & growl. Better than a doorbell. I still miss her. Then we had JT my daughters show jumper. We had to sell JT when my daughters MS put her in a wheel chair. So now we have Atlas her German Shepard service dog. And lastly my Shadow, he’s a tuxedo cat & a rescue. When I got him the vet thought he was about 5 yrs old. That was 11 years ago. He’s still a very active cat. He gets regular bouts of the zoomies, charging thru the house, up on furniture onto table by window etc. then he’ll just flop down on my bed with a sigh & sleep for the rest of the day LOL.I don’t know what I’ll do when he’s gone. Fur babies are such a joy.

I’ve had cats of one sort or another since the 70s. When the last one passed I said no more. Because it hurts so much to lose them. THEN, the cat across the street who really has no home, They leave her outside no matter what the weather and just leave a bit of dry food out for her. But anyway, she wandered in and she’s still here. I feed her good food and got her a bed and some toys, She seems happy here. Sometimes she wants outside but I try and keep her in. I’m afraid she’ll wander off or get attacked. There were some wolves and a coyote down in the woods and something had chomped her left ear off before she came to us. I guess she’s mine now (I hope anyway). I’m happy with her here. We renamed her and I think she’s forgotten her old name now. They called her KItCat and we call her Tiff or Tiffer. Long story on how that came up.

Love this topic! I have a mini long haired Doxie, Heidi. Also, in lineup is Poppy, a very old Blind and deaf Shih Tzu and a huge 16 lb. cat named. Angel. She thinks she is a dog; takes over the dog beds and tries to weasel her way into dog food. All of them provide so many smiles and laughs for me, too.

I have a solid white miniature schnauzer Greta who is three years and seven months old. We were together during the 2020 and 2021, and 2022 years, and she needs to be adequately socialized. I knew something was wrong, and she was whining a bit on Friday. I sometimes hesitate to take her to the vet because she barks at everyone she does not know, but she was so good and didn’t bark at the vet! Not even when he expressed her anal glands, which was her primary problem. They trimmed her toenails, also.
I was going to another vet, and that other vet sold me Trazadone and told me when we came in for a visit, Greta had to take 1/4 of a tablet of Trazadone before getting to the office visit. I wasn’t in favor of that. I went to the vet my daughter uses with no medication. Greta was a sweetheart. She and I are very best friends. I have Greta because my Rosy (8-1/2-year-old pug) went to the Rainbow Bridge in 2020. My best friend had a brown schnauzer (?). I have never seen a solid white or a solid brown schnauzer. After Rosy passed, my best friend Joan told me I had to get another dog. Her husband found the phone number of the breeder that Chaca got from, and I called. The breeder had a schnauzer puppy ready to go to her furever home. Joan and I drove up the mountain and out in the country late one night in 2020 to pick up Greta. Greta has two brown spots on her skin that can be seen when she gets a very short haircut, and Joan and I think she is related to Chaca. My best friend Joan caught Covid from her husband in December 2020 and passed away on March 8, 2021. We had been friends since first grade, and she was 63 years old.
I gave Greta Joan’s middle name Marie. I have had many dogs and cats. This is the first time since the late 1990s that I have had only one pet.
I can relate to everything every pet owner here talked about. Our animals are our lives. I have three grown children, six grandchildren (all but two are grown), and recently, two great-grandsons. I enjoy being with my family.
Greta and I are together 24/7, so this is a strong and loving bond.

I lost my fur baby Tommy almost 3 years ago. He was a totally cool guy. I could take him anywhere and he was comfortable. He was a bush baby never getting on the table or counters. I miss him terribly but he had the greatest life. Passed at age 17
