Scrabble: End game when score reaches 50 option
Choose Multiplayer, Host a Game, Custom, Next, on the top right click advanced and End Game Condition drop down menu.
The last page I select Private, Beginner and 1 Opponents. Select Play and then the option to play Robot. Hope this helps those that were looking for the option in Sunday Night Strategies.

Easier then I thought which was nice. Scrabble I set up private 2 player Crossword. Level 11 for Bejeweled and hit new games for word whomp until more then 15 slots.

For Word Whomp you can also toggle between levels until you find more than 15 words.

SCRABBLE – Used Rose’s suggestion from Sunday’s post: “scrabble: if you double browse or play with a friend, choose “traditional” game and you can play ANY 6 letters as a word. Doesn’t work against bots because they will challenge any non-word.
I had my opponent pass on all their turns and got the badge in 2 games.

Thank you, thank you, thank you RyzandShyn!! I played Scrabble with my daughter as you said to, and it only took 2 games to get the badge! I had 27/35 after the first game! So happy I came to BadgeHungry and saw your tip! Have a wonderful day and I hope all is fine with you!

i tried to double browse with my husbands name, which is a free account… i had him set up a private game, and then i tried to find him, and couldn’t find his table.. not sure what i am doing wrong. i went in reverse and set up a table myself.. and he couldnt see me either.. 🙁

Scrabble is only available to Club members. Sorry.

Sorry Sal, but Scrabble is not exclusive to Club members. I checked with my free account and was able to play BUT I was not able to find a friends table, so maybe a free account is not allow to play with a game that has chat.

Sal. The message you quote is what I got when I tried to activate the badge (which IS exclusive to Club) but I was able to play the game. I checked again, and I could access chat, so I have no other idea why I couldn’t find a table.

Hi Minty.
Scrabble is NOT a Club Pogo only game. My free account can get in to play it.
However, I also could not use that account to play for this badge as I had the same experience as you – even though me and my free account are “friends” neither showed up under the “join a table” option, even with changing the filters and everything else I could think of.
I imagine this means that while free accounts can play the game, they must be blocked from using the “traditional” mode of gameplay or using the “join a table” option or something…lol.
Once I played with a friend’s member’s account, it went smoothly.

This is an excellent recommendation of how to double browse. I have one addendum — You may not need two browsers. When right clicking on the browser’s icon you are often offered “in private” or “incognito” as an option to open a separate window that can be used for the second Pogo account to sign on.

I played alone on Scrabble against a bot (I have no friends to team up with) and set the end score to 120 to get more chances. New version is so bad in comparison but didn’t take long.
Lol, BS took 4 games, the same as the daily requirement.
Wish WW lasted longer. 🙂

Confussed and need help -what are the crystal layers that we need to cleat this week for weekly badge ?? played like 40 games and nothing and dont understand what I need to get badge?? Anyone help please!!!!

Crystal layers look like glass over the gems. Sometimes they have a double layer. Level 11 is the best for this challenge.

I can set up the table for scrabble to play with a friend but neither of us can get our letters to move to the board.When we click and drag them them immediately drop back down to the rest of the letters. Can’t even form a word. I play on a Mac using Firefox and she is on a PC with Chrome. Obviously we are missing something completely obvious but can’t for the life figure out what.

That happened to me when it wasn’t my turn, but it sounds like you both tried so it must have been one of your turn.

When scrabble opens to the page where you chose single or multiple player there is a gear iron at the lower right. Clicking on that gear allows you to choose how to play your tile. Sounds like you might be trying to use “drag and drop” with the game set to “click target”. If you click a tile and it gets a glowing border, then you need to click the spot where you want it to go.
