What are you thankful for?
The weekend open thread is a regular feature at BadgeHungry. Every weekend, we answer the discussion question above, and chat about anything game-related. I am thankful for that my two adult kids and doing fine and are actually people that I like.
I have lived a great life. I am almost jealous of me. But I might be easily satisfied. I never set my sights too high.
I believe that my only real goal in life should be to become a stronger, smarter, kinder person. I am thankful to God for showing me that.

I’m thankful for my friends and family and Badgehungry. I’m also thankful for Pogo (most of the time LOL). I’m also thankful for my “ghost cat” Austin (aka Casper). LOL I’m sure he’s thankful he has a roof over his head, plenty of food (even though he runs away whenever he sees/senses I’m near him, and doesn’t want to be touched. ) LOL
Wishing everyone a Happy and safe Thanksgiving!!

I am thankful every day that my parents came to Canada so very many years ago. I watch the strife overseas and think “that could be me.”
I am thankful that we follow the traditions of giving thanks, which were started by our indigenous North America thousands of years ago.
I am thankful for my family and my friends (both my personal reality stars, and my virtual ones).

I am most grateful for my health and for the knee replacements that I had last year. My ability to walk hasn’t been this good in at least 15 years.
Standing and walking is a joy now, instead of a torture.
Happy Thanksgiving and Good Luck everyone! 🦃🦃🦃

Well I am thankful, this is a big one for me as I am quite private. Sio here goes first time sharing, Feb 2014 i found a lump, 3 weeks before a wonderful month trip to america…california. Anyway with all the scans they found ANOTHER one….again a primary. Im a retired nurse, I cannot begin to tell you how rare this is. Usually withbcancer it has spread. My surgeon said give me a year and you will get your life back. WE shook hands and the deal was done. Half way through chemo my daughter got married, my husband shaved my head the night before. That in itself is a horror show, I carried it off with a scalp thing and a hat…..chemo taught me how to wear hats…..8 years on my hair grew back and if anyone knows cadburys chocolate, that is my hair colour and i love being part of badgehungry, btw i love pogo too lol

Oh, you certainly are brave and blessed and everything wonderful! Thank you for sharing. Reading about your experience got me crying and laughing and shouting out loud, “Way to go!” You are a perfect example of what it is to be truly blessed and grateful. So happy that you went on your trip and collected some super memories. (Hugs from another bc survivor; CA USA) 🥰

I am grateful to the people who work hard to produce, move sometimes thousands of miles, and put on the shelves all the food I bought to cook for the holiday.

Jgs98765 says
I am so sorry to hear this. I almost lost my son on his 25th birthday. I was lucky. The doctors were able to save him. I still have to hold back tears when I think about that near tragedy. I can’t imagine how you and his parents are coping. My heart is with you.
