Pretty easy! No power-ups used (yet!!). Only 5 levels left to get 3rd star. I have a theory that before it offers a winnable layout, it offers X number chances for easy 1 power-up win — bypass those offers and it gives in to let you win.

Holy Cow!! I actually finished ALL levels 3 stars without power-ups. I had a
M&M activated for 2000 cards and got only 2/3 of the way through.

Since they added a requirement to get a streak of 6 in a game I have lost interest & stopped playing other than for dailies & challenges
