It was a just a matter of time until these came out.
Good luck everyone.

A couple of the challenge requirements are not bad, but what is it with new games and high challenge requirements, or challenges that require power-ups?
I seem to remember the initial badges were easier to encourage folks to play the new game.
Kathy says
yea yahtzee i bought 4 the 20 gems ones… its is fun game
Diane Mc says
I have a question about this game. How do you get wild cards? I am at rank 50 and have never gotten a wild card.. I would not want to buy badges without knowing how and why you get wild cards.
FADEDWILDROSE says
You buy wild dice with your star coins by clicking on the gold die to the lower left of the shaker cup.
sirron1957 says
Diane Mc, wild dice not cards. And they are random

Kathy Mason says
Wild dice. Click on the gold die on the side of your cup. You can buy them with gems or the coins you earn from winning the game and leveling up. each wild die cost 1000 of these coins.
FADEDWILDROSE says
Yikes! I just got around to these badges and that’s a whole lot of yahtzees needed. You better be going in every day to collect the free Star coins so you can buy your way to yahtzees with wild dice. You can buy coins with gems and that is probably their plan.
Wineman92 says
You also earn coins by playing (125 per game on solo play so far for me) and for ranking up. My plan is to do all of the easiest badges first, then the ones that require yahtzees and lastly the ones needing wild dice.

Play Solo when trying to get the Win 10 games badge!
Beverly says
What counts as a win when playing solo?
Wineman92 says
When playing single player, solo, finishing the game counts as a win. It’s not like the old Yahtzee where you needed to score 250 (I think?). Any old score will do when playing solo nowadays.
oldblue153 says
The longest 2 will be the ones to use 35 and 50 Wilds.
@125 points per game it takes 8 games to win 1,000 coins.
1 wild costs 1,000 coins or 5 Gems.
Therefore it will take 400 games to win 50,000 coins (or 250 Gems) and another 280 games to win 35,000 coins (or 175 Gems) for the other badge.
These 2 are either VERY long or quite pricy Badges.
Wineman92 says
They will be long, but not quite as long as 680 games. You also get coins for ranking up and that number increases as your rank increases. I completed two of the easier badges today (win 80 points from 3 of a kind and 500 points from full house) and am at about 6,000 coins. I think the last rank up I got 189 coins and I am still currently ranking up about every 2-3 games. Before Rose’s post above I didn’t realize there are daily coins to collect. I have not been collecting yet but will start now. Not sure how many you get per day.
oldblue153 says
I have 82,000 coins ( I have only ever used 1 wild as per the tutorial), I’m Rank 52 and Ranks aren’t so fast anymore…I go in daily most the time and have won 400 games to date so I could easily do the 2 badges and yes I have played less than 680 games ( probably around 450 as only 1rst place counts in stats).
However that being said I would certainly take this as a sign as to what a potential challenge for a marathon might be like and go in and collect those daily free coins…they go up pretty good after about 2 weeks.
You wouldn’t want to be @ rank 50 with 0 coins when a challenge (particularly a sequential Marathon Badge) came out to use x amount of wilds.
So just keep that in mind when doing these badges n keep a little in reserves just in case.
FADEDWILDROSE says
I have collected the free coins almost every day since the game came out so I have over 35,000 coins which can get me through the “use 35 wild” badge and playing to get it should give me at least some replacements. You need to be regular in your free coin collection because early days of the month award small amount but it gets larger as you get farther along in the month.
Verobunzer says
Thank you all for the tips and also for the warning of future marathons, etc. with Yahtzee! Now that I’m no longer playing Daily Sudoku, I have a little bit of free time to do more daily collections. This is being added today. 🙂
Bryanjul5 says
I have played over 1000 games and accumulated up to 60,000 coins. However I used many of them getting the first 4 badges offered. I am now building my coins again for the 35 and 50 spins. Besides daily collections, here is my hint:
Your score does not matter when finishing a game. I have collected the 125 coins with a score of 897 and also with a score of 56, lol.
It will go much faster if you play on solo, single player and just spin once and hit play. I spin maybe 13 or 14 times each game instead of 30 or 40 times every game and collect my coins.
Good luck everyone! Have fun!
Bryanjul5 says
I also earn my rank points quicker.
Wineman92 says
I like the play one roll and score to speed up game play and coin collection. Thanks for the tip!

I had someone ask me how to gift these badges. I checked in old pogo > find a badge > but I don’t see Yahtzee! Wild in games. So can you gift these badges and if so does anyone know how?
Bryanjul5 says
Well a couple of points to take into consideration…remember you can not use more than one wild each space.. If you spin 3 of a kind you can not make a yatzee by using 2 wilds.
The second point is it costs additional coins every time you place a wild on the same card. The first time you place a wild card it is free to place it. After that it costs to place the wild dice on a card. That additional cost progresses each time.
So if you try to use ten wilds on one card using 1 wild in each spin, it will cost you about 15,000 coins….. not 10,000 coins.
Wineman92 says
Has anyone started the use xx wild dice badges? I’m curious if you get credit for every wild dice used per game (you can use one per round) or if it only counts one wild dice towards badge progress per full game played?
Bryanjul5 says
I had 20 of the 50 wilds when my grandson changed my badge by mistake . I wasted a bunch of my stash but I have completed the 35 wilds .badge since.
I play solo and since your score doesn’t matter because you are competing against yourself I spin once and hit play and complete each game in 13 or 14 spins. 8 complete games gives you 1000 coins, and advances you in rank and a chance to use a wild dice on the next game for free.
As mentioned before you can use more than 1 per game but it costs progressive additional coins each time you use a wild and you cannot use more than 1 per round. Also you earn coins
when you rank up and when you claim dailies.

in Yahtzee I am working on a badge. Can’t get the tutorial off.
Wineman92 says
I finally just finished all 8 of these badges. Glad that is over. I didn’t buy any coins. And I only used wilds for the badges needing wild dice. Now I can start building up my supply of coins at a more leisurely pace. I probably will try to earn 1,000 coins a day via collecting daily or playing.
