  1. Monopoly Sudoku – I’ll probably use the solver and do the expert levels. I may as well make some good money, still have a lot to build on the accounts that I work on.

    Trizzle – I don’t care for the game but should only take me 5 or 6 games. Always try to make the mega matches away from the sides so that you get the most benefit. It pays even if you have to use an extra move or 2.

    Garden Blast – I’m not even activating the badge on either of my accounts. I refuse to use the low levels for a weekly that I can reactivate as a personal later in the year. I’m saving those low levels for when it’s part of a Marathon/Event. That’s a now or never badge.

    I honestly don’t understand how Pogo has the nerve to make it a weekly badge when there are so many members that are stuck on a hard level. The forums are full of members that have completed the 240 levels and are now playing the random levels. But the hard/impossible levels come up more often than they should. And some have run out of seed money, and there’s no way to replace that unless you want to spend your gems.

    • Suz, your strategies for the upcoming weekly challenges In Monopoly Sudoko and Trizzle are solid.

      Your reason for not activating Garden Blast badge is indeed sound. I must assume that for every player that has completed the 240 levels and is now playing random levels, that there are hundreds who have not been—or will not be—able to progress with, or without, gems.

      I feel Garden Blast as a weekly challenge is very unfair to those who cannot afford (or won’t spend) the gems needed just to figure out the game’s boosters must be chosen before they hit the “Play” button—especially since every game depends on the “luck of the draw,” and usually has to be replayed several times before completing the level.

      Because I know very well how long it takes and how difficult it is just to complete a chest that awards a measly 50 seeds or a booster or power-up (20 flowers for each chest with a maximum of 3 flowers per high-scoring game—otherwise 1 or 2 flowers), it is hard to imagine that 30 levels can be completed by the average Pogo player who is only expecting a fun challenge.

      Since the completed badges in “My Rewards” no longer state the name of the game, much less what challenge was completed—and since the 400 pogis attached to the weekly Garden Blast will not make a difference to my completing the current Constellation…

      …It is in protest and as an act of solidarity for fellow Club Pogo players who cannot-will not-are unable to play this stacked game. I also will not be activating the Garden Blast weekly challenge badge.

      At least in a bonafide casino, they serve free drinks!

    • i agree with you im stuck on level 40 i cant afford to buy gems and seeds i have gottenj every weekly challenge but i know i wont be able to garden blast i think they should do away with it or challenge it to where you can do random games from the start

      • Playing random from the start wouldn’t help b/c of the way it’s programmed. When you get a random level, whether it is level 1 or level 200, you must complete that random level before getting another random level.

      • I completely agree with what 1964 says — I also am stuck on Level 40, and cannot get past it. I give up on this game, and unless Pogo changes it so that ALL players can replay the lower levels, I will not be able to get this badge. I am in solidarity with those players who will not do it! Thank you, Suz, for you input as always!

      • I agree. I have played level 40 27 times and have no clue how to complete this level. I know it was designed to get you to spend gems which I will not do ever. It makes me mad that I bought a challenge which I will never be able to complete.

    • Totally agree with you! On Garden Blast I’m stuck . I don’t like it and it’s extremely hard for being this type of game.

      I’m predicting it will be most disliked game even over Quinn’s, although I like Quinn’s.

    • I think that’s exactly why they made it a challenge so people would have to use gems. It’s a much different pogo now days then in the past.

      • Yes, this is not the old Pogo that we loved for so many years. This is a poor excuse of a game site now.

        I think they are going to be surprised by the amount of people that don’t even bother activating the badge. And I know they will be tracking it b/c of all the backlash. The forums have all sorts of threads about it. A friend told me that Facebook is blowing up too.

        I’m sure they will be tracking the power up sales in GB this week also. So sad.

    • I agree with you on Garden Blast. Am at the point I can’t do badges for the game. To buy more moves is too expensive

      • i agree with you i cant afford to buy the gems ive gotten evey wednesday challenge til now i guess i wont get garden blast

      • I agree with EvnWolf, I’ve wasted too many gems on Garden Blast might have to stop playing it, it doesn’t make any sense the way they have set up some levels.

  2. I like Monopoly Sudoku but since I have reached the maximum amount of money I can earn I will just play the easy level. Trizzle is not one of my favorite games and 300 mega matches is a lot so I will do what I can and Garden Blast? I don’t even care if I do or not. I haven’t done a ton of levels but if it becomes too much I will not use gems for it. I will just let it go undone.

  3. I’m kind of sick of playing Trizzle and Monopoly, but broken down into daily increments they aren’t too bad.
    Garden Blast: I played the game when it was first released to level 4. Then I went to read player feedback on the game and have kept my eye on the feedback since then. The game appears to be a nightmare! I’m not playing it – perhaps I will when I have to, like if it’s a game in one of those Marathons or Events where we have to play the games we’re given in order so that we can progress. I’m just not interested in a game that has frustrated so many players who have attempted to progress in the game, and promotes extensive use of power-ups.

    • I don’t mind playing Trizzle and Monopoly Sudoku but like you I keep reading all the comments about Garden Blast and I have been staying away from the game.

      So for the first time since I have been activating badges I will NOT activate Garden Blast unless I am forced to in a Marathon or Event.

      I like using my gems to buy new badges not power-ups and Garden Blast sounds like a game that one needs to use gems. Thanks but no thanks.

  4. I play Monopoly Sudoku everyday. Don’t care for Trizzle, but will play it without a problem. Like everyone else, I will skip Garden Blast. Guess that’s the reason for the 3 weeklies. If it had only been the usual 2, there would have been major uproars!

    • The reason for the 3 challenges is because players outside of North America are not allowed to play Monopoly Sudoku!

      • I’m not sure I was right about that, Sal. I thought it was the case, since it is a Hasbro game (like Scrabble), but I’ve talked to people in other countries who can play Monopoly Sudoku. Maybe they gave us 3 games since they knew Garden Blast would be so unpopular? Who knows with Pogo anymore…:::sigh:::

    • Moosette, its hard to guess why pogo has three challenges this week, but it sure is NOT true that people outside North America can not play Monopoly Sudoku. Maybe pogo is just testing the waters with their nasty Garden Blast. I certainly will not be activating the Garden Blast badge. Pogo can just keep it.

  5. Well, I was going to give Garden Blast a try but after reading all these comments, I’m changing my mind. I will also recommend to all my friends to read these comments if they are thinking of giving it a try. Maybe if Pogo has a poor showing for this badge, it may prompt them to make changes that are more player friendly. We can hope anyway. Have a good week everyone.

I was stuck on Level 200 from December, 2021, until last week when my sister sat with me and we worked ALL day, hit NEW GAME hundreds of times, used ALL of my seeds and boosters that I’d earned on the previous 199 levels AND had to spend 40 gems (!) and finally got it. Ridiculous!! And, when you get to Level 240 (the last one), the games are then random and people are saying that Level 200 comes up over and over as a random level…and you have to finish it before another random level appears. I’m heartbroken that Pogo is doing this to us! After over 22 years and just 50 badges away from 13,000 I am ready to quit Pogo over this. Pogo is a BIG part of my life and this is like a death.

    • This will be my first time for NOT activating a Weekly Badge. I joined ‘Club’ in 2000 and have them all until today. I am dreadfully sad. But I know my limits, and some lines I will not cross. To all who try and finish I say WTG! Enjoy the badges YOU choose to do!!! Keyword: FUN!!!! Love to all!

  7. I have a problem playing trizzle on my pc. It is stuck in the tutorial and freezes after one move. I have tried emptying cache and everything and it won’t work. I have to do that game on my old computer with windows 7. So it is kind of a pain whenever Pogo throws in that game.

  8. I’ve been stuck on level 40 for a few weeks. Every now and then i go give it a try to no avail. So, there’s no way that i can do a 30-win weekly. I feel that the people who create the challenges don’t play the games. Otherwise, they would understand how this challenge is an impossibility for many.

  9. I am desperately hoping they come to their senses before Wednesday – but these days, I admit the hope is not based on anything resembling “they genuinely care for their customers and will want to do right by them.”

    I’m currently on Level 152, which I grudgingly attained because I stupidly bought those M&M badges and can’t not try and win them. But some of those levels took 300+ attempts and the thought of doing that 30 times…oh hell no!!! And that will irk me more than the M&M badges. I have NEVER not won a weekly badge…EVER! I even legitimately EARNED the infamous Quick Quack Badge, that most people demanded Pogo give them. I also earned the ancient golf badge (not the mini golf games – was it “Pebble Beach” golf game?) that I must’ve activated 15-20 times before finally winning it

    This will be the first incomplete yearly album – and it’s going to eat at me!

    • Is there a chance Pogo could give us this badge?? Be sure to make your complaint known. It has been known to happen. We recently received Free Pogis for no apparent reason.. After all the badge doesn’t really cost anything.

    • They are going to have to do something. The majority of members aren’t even going to activate it. And a majority of the members probably have never missed a weekly badge, like you. I know I never have, not even on my 2nd account.

      The “old” Pogo would never have done this, but I think the “new” Pogo will make it a Marathon/Event Badge after the weekly, thinking that members will be stuck and will pay to finish a Marathon/Event.

      I’m not talking about an in-game event as that will just be 7 random levels. I can’t wait to see what wonderful levels they give us for that…lol

  10. The requirements for Garden Blast should be to get disco balls or rockets even if you lose your game it should count. I also will not be doing this challenge

      • If I were pogo, (which I’m not! I actually think I’m much smarter than a Cactus Head) I would be more impressed if players activated the game and were complaining about getting stuck or how long it was taking and running out of time (which has occasionally worked in the past) rather than players not even attempting to play. Like Jada said, Pogo is aware of how many are playing and completing or not completing the badges. Like Annie, communication with the mods (or Pogocommunity@ea.com) is more likely to get attention than complaining to BH or Forum. Just my opinion. Time will tell.

  12. I will not even activate the Garden Blast challenge. It is ridiculous to have a challenge for 30 games when you can’t do random other than the one level they give you and you have to pass it. Pogo needs to listen to their players or will lose more and more players.

  13. I agree with everyone here about the games. Pogo has changed and its a shame they keep giving us the same ones over and over. Monopoly Sudoku, Trizzle and Quinns. There are so many other games more fun.

  14. I’m stuck on level 40 also.. Unlike Quinn’s I don’t like the game enough to spend gems so that’s it for me for garden blast.. Such a silly game..

  15. After being totally bored finishing my badge in drizzle this morning I went back to garden blast.. Yesterday I spent hours trying to get past level 40 this morning I succeeded after my first try.. I was able to finish the badge pretty quickly.. Not sure if pogo made the game easier or if luck was on my side.. Good luck everyone..
