sounds like a fun one for a change
Ally says
finished it already! i like these types of challenges, they are easy and quick to complete
Kay says
I completed the quest and got the first badge. Do you have to just keep playing to get the second one?
Kay says
Never mind the above question. I got them both.

Now that was fun. This is my favorite game and I wish they would make it a weekly badge sometime instead of the same ones over and over.

Can someone please tell me what the purpose of the silver coins is…..I have over a million, but don’t know if I am supposed to spend them on something, or just make the pile grow. Thanks in advance.
Rainbow says
Hi Ruth, You can use them to buy power-ups, like the jokers, mines and such. If you have over a million you are all set to buy as much as you need or want 🙂
Ruth says
I read that from someone else, but when I go to the “shop” button, it only shows jewels as the price, not silver.

Then you aren’t far enough into the Islands to use coins instead of silver. It’s the same as Bejeweled Stars, you need to be at level 125 in order to buy the hypercubes with gold coins.

If I remember right, you can only use silver inside a game and when you are completely out of the boost that you want to buy.
FADEDWILDROSE says
Curious me, went into an old account that I no longer use. When beginning a game, any boost for which I had none, it showed me how much silver it would cost me to activate it. There are some boosts that show a padlock until you have played enough to unlock and use them, but some are available from the beginning.
MomsBassetHound says
You use them to buy the power ups in the game.

You use them tp buy boosts.
SandyJWsjw says
You can use the coins to buy power ups.
FADEDWILDROSE says
You can use the silver coins to buy boosts (if you are out). You may not need to use them to win, but there are in-game awards for using boosts. There is also one for spending those coins

The event was fun to play. However, I ended with a lot less silver than when I started. I did buy the Run Finder power-up as I had none in stock to help makes the runs needed which costs 9,000 silver a pop.
I still have a little over 350,000 silver which should be enough to get me through other challenges or events, but I’m still going to add the game to my daily list for a bit to build my silver back up.

The Event is no longer available, it ended early.
