Dull week. I never play WSD unless it’s a daily and noticed that diagonals are scarce but only ever play on easy. Would a higher level have more? I’d guess you’d get credit for ending the game after getting all you can but not sure. I think this is the first weekly for the game. 🙂
Nothing to say about QA. I like it — it’s relaxing but really not much fun anymore.
And the 3 challenges in the Polar event. Ugh, Lumeno.

I tried WSD and 2 games on easy gave me 3 diagonals each game . 2 games on medium gave me 6 and 1. I’ll stick with easy since it’s a lot faster.

I thought about that too — the time involved. I’ll try to get the diagonals and end the game and hope they count. Not a game I enjoy so the quicker the better,

Sonja….Lumeno…is very easy….you’re not going for the flowers…just the dots. If you can get the flowers…it gives you extra moves. I think I got mine in 5 games….Better than QA….

WSD Aug 9th and 15th on easy have 7 diagonal words each
RyzandShyn says
Unfortunately, we all don’t get the same puzzles, so your experience and mine will be different.
I only had 3 diagonals on August 15th. But I’m glad I did it because I only had a few undone August days and I thought that if I finished all of August I would get a Game Award badge for finishing the month….NOT – they only put rank badges in the HD version.

Another week where I only do one weekly. I will not play QA., I don’t mind WDS. Shouldn’t be too hard to finish plus I will have more time since it will be the only game I play……lol
RyzandShyn says
shelnick – There is the 2021 weekly for removing 2,000 tiles that will go perfectly with this one and also a M&M for 8 games.
While I also stay away from Quinn’s, I’m going to do it since getting 3 badges with 1 effort is my kind of deal 🙂

I can understand the logic it is just that I don’t like the game. I did look through the 27 QA badges that are undone in my collection and I found a 600 Pogis one that I might try along with the weekly. It is for winning 22 games in under 15 minutes. If I have enough power-ups I might give it a try. If I have to spend more than 15 minutes on a single game to finish it then the whole thing will be for naught……..lol

HaHa Not winning 22 games in 15 minutes but a single game in under 15 minutes 22 times. I am already getting stressed out over this game.
RyzandShyn says
I understand.
I don’t like it either, or any Mahjong game except for Safari (go figure), but I mostly don’t play it on principle. I think it was horrible how they initially designed the game to go forward only and made going forward so difficult so that power-ups were an enticing option. I felt and still feel it was not in keeping with the player-friendly spirit of Pogo, but they continued doing the same thing after that with other games. Plenty of people played anyway…sigh…but I just couldn’t want to.

I don’t like QA either, but I break it up in “sessions.” I do 5 games per session and that seems to work for me b/c I don’t get overwhelmed by the number of total games I have to play. I just nibble at it a little at a time until I’m done. Sometimes it’s the little things that work.

In QA, Any tips for choosing random puzzles that are easier? In Snowbird, at least they are numbered.
RyzandShyn says
I look for the puzzles that are spread out across the board.
I also look for the ones where there’s a row across the bottom and then “towers sticking up from those – kind of like a candelabra
I stay away from any that have multiple areas of tiles stacked thick
I finished 3 and didn’t need to use any power-ups!
