What is your favorite card game at Pogo and why?

    There are different ways to play it and none of those are difficult to master.
    There always seems to be a fun badge available to play in it.
    Nostalgic – I’m pretty sure it was the first game I ranked out in.- I was so proud to earn the Coconut Boombox.
    The Best of Jungle Gin PBA was the first thing I won in a BH PBA Giveaway – lol, remember those? Fun stuff!

  3. Used to be Thousand Island Solitaire but the new HD version is slightly different n not quite as much fun as it used to be ( Missing that 14,000 gold chest badge for 1)…Its been replaced by Solitaire Blitz.

  6. Sounds like I am ranting again, sorry…..

    In the Garden Blast game I have completed all the Garden Chests up to level 240, and am currently on rank 8. In order to continue ranking up the game says play a “random level” I clicked random and was sent to level 200, which was in my opinion one of the hardest to complete.

    I have again wasted all my accumulated p/ups and many gems to purchase more p/ups. However even after completing this “random” level several times it is frozen there.

    I contacted Pogo and their response was that they were going to wait until others had this problem.

    What is going on? How long until others reach level 240 and start playing random levels. LOL , Anyone else getting frozen in this game?

    • You may be waiting a long time if they want to wait to see if others have the same problem. I think the majority of us don’t even have the game yet. I guess it’s good there will be so many experts when the rest of us finally get the game. *weak lol*

    • Your “Pogo contact” fed you a load of bull****. As the forums clearly show, lots of people have been complaining about Garden Blast for a month now. I will not play the game again until they fix the problem of getting stuck on a supposedly random level.

    • It’s a known issue. Was reported to Sconnie right after the game came out, and he notified the team that random wasn’t random.

      You will just have to wait until they fix it.

    • I still don’t have Garden Blast, or Trivial Pursuit. I finally got Lumeno and don’t like it at all.

      As for my favorite carrd game it is Euchre and any of the old video poker games.

Spades … unfortunately, Pogo does not offer appropriate controls to this game that would allow table hosts to boot unruly players who intentionally stall games or otherwise refuses to continue the game. Also, the player rating system is a big mystery as to how you move up or down, in some cases going down after a win!

  8. I agree with another post. Texas Hold ‘Em was my all time favorite. It was the first game I ranked out in (if you recall, that was 100 ranks). Now it’s Spades. I can’t tell you the reason why. I just love playing. i only play with bots because if I have a crummy hand, I start over, and that’s just a horrible thing to do to a real partner.

  9. Jungle Gin is now my favorite, but my “old” time favorite used to be Canasta, but with the “new” Canasta the cards are smaller and it is harder for me to move them with my mouse. Have a good weekend, all!

    • I forget to list Tri-Peaks also. Not a fan of Snowboard Solitaire, WCS, or FC solitaire.

  12. My favorite card game now is Jungle Gin. I always enjoy playing it! Previously, in old Pogo, my very favorite card game was pinochle!! I miss pinochle on pogo but still play it at another site!

    • I also miss Pinochle. I use to play that game with regular cards every weekend with friends. Hopefully, they will bring that one back.

  13. there is a mistake in the directions for the Lumeno badge. It says no less than 10, which means 10 should count. I’ve had 5 tens that didn’t count.

    • If you’re looking at the multiplier in the top right, it starts at 1X. You have to get the multiplier to read 11 (10+1=11) to get credit for the badge. Not a collecting a flower that says 10 in it. You have to collect 10 of the flowers.

  14. My fav is spades and solitaire blitz, but the one I would most like back is Qwerty. I play triple scrabble almost 12 x a day, but I much preferred qwerty

  15. When is pogo going to fix the major glitch in the Sweet Tooth Town special event, Level 6. Has been freezing on that level 6 for two days now. Lots of complaints.

  17. My favorites are Solitaire Blitz, Mahjongg Sanctuary, Quinn’s Aquarium and all the Solitaire games.

  18. Canasta . It was one of the first card games I ranked out in. I learned to play it using Pogo’s instructions and fell in love with the art work.

    Question: Does anyone know a good level in Bejeweled Stars to get a lot of vines? A friend of mine needs a little over 200 more to get a badge and I can’t find a good one.

  19. I have a real problem with Pogo card games with the exception of one which I will not name for fear that they will totally futz that one up also😁

  20. Jungle Gin because they fixed the glitches in that game, I love it. Also like Tri Peaks, I ranked out in that game in Old Pogo! 🙂

    I have claimed 4 flowers in Lumeno, I have today and tomorrow to get the other 14, anyone have any NEW hints. I have read all the others and thank everyone who posted tips, they are very helpful!! 🙂

    • Once I got the hang out of it I found that is was fun. I’ll try to explain it. Flower says 10 on you need it to become 0 I try to match colors but look for in game powerups that take out the row , as you connect them it will change the number on the flower.
      I never buy power ups just use the ones you get in the game for matching 5 or more. Once I got to 11 on my meter I only matched 3 at a time so game would end.

      • Once the meter reaches eleven, you can click on the three lines in the top left and quit the game. No need to keep playing once you reached the goal.

    • I don’t know what the other hints were, but I’ll list what I found most helpful.
      Try to line up the horizontal arrow with the flower. Don’t use the vertical arrow unless it brings you to zero because it eliminates the entire column and the flower falls off.
      I keep moving the blast 3×3 dot on different spaces around the flower until it gives the best countdown. They do vary even though they are right next to the flower depending on what other special pieces it activates. If a high numbered flower starts at the bottom, I try to get it off the grid asap so a new one comes higher up the grid.

  23. I like all the card games. My favorite used to be Jungle Gin. But I think they left out the fun part. To me the thing that made me enjoy playing was the new items that came with the ranks. Well done and fun to see what was next.
    Now I guess it is Tri-peaks and Thousand Island.

  24. Canasta is my favorite… It brings back such fond memories of my weekly Monday evening game at my Mom’s house… Four of us got together every Monday evening and had so much fun…

  25. I like Jungle Gin, Canasta, and First Class Solitaire. That’s about it for now. I still can’t seem to play Spades. I mean, I *know* how to play it. I just can’t win…AT ALL on Spades. If we *have* do Spades, I make my husband play it for me. Oh, and Quinn’s, I love Quinn’s, unlike most everyone else. I still like World Class Solitaire, but it seems almost impossible to win anymore.

  28. My favorite is Spades playing with real people (I also wish there was a way to boot a nasty player but thankfully I haven’t come across too many). I still miss playing Hearts (where there was lots of nasty players but I ignored them because I enjoyed the game that much).

  29. OK, here’s a funny not funny little thing. I gave a guest pass to my husband’s account. It hasn’t been active since he died Jan 2021 and I thought I could get the 1000 pogo challenge as well as have a little fun playing on his account. I may or may not sign up for Club, we’ll see.

    But here’s the thing, just for the heck of it I checked and Lo and Behold that guest account has access to both Trivial Pursuit and Garden Blast whereas the majority of us long term users do not. I guess Pogo feels that to get new people to sign up they must show them all the new and wonderful games as well as the old and wonderful games. Maybe, but it’s kind of a kick in the pants, don’t you think? You’d think these glitchy, more or less Beta games wouldn’t be tossed out there for newbies they’re trying to sign up. Whatever! I played both for awhile, neither are games I’ll play much, probably only for badges.

    • I think it stinks, but Pogo doesn’t care what we think anymore.

      At least you got your guest pass sent. Mine haven’t been going anywhere. Did you send it to his Pogo ID or his email address? I’m trying to figure out if one way works better than the other.

        Mine went through just fine and I sent it to the friend’s e-mail address.
        Hope you get yours to work.

      • I had to send my guest pass to their regular email — separate for anything Pogo — and they were able to activate it by answering the email.

      • That’s too bad, I hope you can get them sent through. At first I used his Pogo ID and that didn’t do anything so I sent it to his email address and it worked fine.

        It’s been kind of fun starting over in a few games like Snowbird and Sanctuary, I may decide to keep it at least for a few months. He even had ~200 gems so have been using those too. 😊

  30. I love all card games. That is what I play mostly. Card games and word games. I really miss Euchre, Pinochle, Hearts and Cribbage. Played with bots to avoid drama. I hope to see them back someday.

  31. i also sent 1 to my hubby using his email but when he went to open it he got this big long numbers s o he played around changed something and then he got the guess past, so time will tell if it worked he also put him on my friends list which i dont even know how to do, they give him a badge plus a free badge to do cause i thought i used a pass for him before yrs ago my favorite game is canasta, bingo i wish they would add more ranks , also the flower game i gave up on that after 3 days trying and sweet tooth i used alot of power ups and not get that either ,anyone having trouble i tried to play today it would not play for some reason

  32. It was Cribbage and Pinochle when we had those games, now it’s nothing. It’s not to say I hate the games, just no favorites.

  33. I think…I like most of the card games, and card solitaire games – because they’re based on real card games I grew up playing

    I think the only one I HATE is Snowbird Solitaire! Because no real deck of cards has sand, waves, beach balls and other nonsense!

    In other news – I (shockingly) got access to Trivial Pursuit. I’ve mostly played the “Daily 9” version and I’m still undecided about it. I used to love the old version, but mostly because it was such a huge weekly tokens bonanza. I used to play both the US version and the UK version and double my token take, each week. It looks like they’ve only assigned rank badges to the game so far. Badges at Rank 10, 20, 30…100. I hope they figure out some other “just for playing” badges
