    • I thought this too, and then I figured it out. By underknocking, your opponent (I use the computer) has to knock first and you have to have a lower number left in your hand. (If computer knocks with 10 you have to have a 9 or lower). My strategy was to always have 2 points left in my hand, and never go gin.

      • If you’re winning all the games it sounds like you’re not playing correctly. You canNOT Knock. You have to get 2 or 3 gin hands, pairs or runs, and try to get where you only have one extra card, preferably and ace or a two. Then sit and wait, even if you have to throw away a card that would win the hand for you. You want the Bot to knock and hopefully your one card is equal or less to the cards he knocks with

      • If you knock you won’t get credit b/c you are not meeting the requirement.

        To get credit you do NOT knock. Your opponent has to knock,, and you need to have less (or the same amount) deadwood in your hand to get credit.

      • I wonder if some people think that “UNDERKNOCK” means to knock with less deadwood that the limit shown under the “knock” icon lower right. That is not the meaning of underknock! It does mean that your hand’s deadwood must be UNDER the amount that the opponent KNOCKS with.

  2. I underknocked in Gin a few times and am not getting credit. I will pop back in to see if others are getting credit or if I am doing wrong. I am playing Oklahoma. Thanks.

    • i got my gin badge .. these are the settings i used … Aces are low only
      Regular (Knock limit 10
      i did not use Oklahoma …. you need to have the computer knock first
      and try to get rid of the high cards in your hand if can they count against your total
      try to keep ace in your hand it counts as one….
      i try to make three gin hands and keep ace or two in hand and hope the bot goes knock

    • I have never been able to get an unknock badge playing in Oklahoma. Have you tried playing any other way?

      • I just completed my badge playing Oklahoma. You just have to be aware of what the number needed to knock is.

For anyone concerned with the STT badge as it sounds very long (esp if you loathe the game as I do and wish to play a minimal amount of levels) Chocolate Levels 1 thru 3 yield roughly 900 total candies (300ish each level) and basically complete themselves. After 3 rounds of this, My total is now a little over 2800.

    Remember in gin, YOU DON”T KNOCK, the robot does, and you need to have LESS deadwood. The bots typically knock with 4 or more, so if you set aces to low only and try to keep 3 or less in your hand, you will usually end up with less, unless the bot goes out very early in the hand (which happens)

    TP is just a waiting game for the right hands to win and progress across the bridge.. If you have a wild, use it when you have one card left, or you see a run to win and clear your peaks, preferably before you’re opening another chest if possible, as it might yield you another wild. Lately, the wilds have been few and far between.

    • Thank you so much hollyszoo1, for the GREAT tip on what store and which levels to use. I am now just under 5500. I think I’ll get this one done in another 30 minutes. 🙂

  5. Hello everyone. First of all, I think 32 chests is outrageous. I recently finished a badge requiring 30 chests and that took some time. Secondly, I set up Gin for regular knocking, not Oklahoma, and, at first, the bot was consistently winning. I left the room, started over and won some hands. Of course, a badge like this is tough because you find yourself tossing winning hands while you lie in wait for the opponent to knock. Thirdly, I haven’t tried Sweet Tooth so I’m not sure if 8000 is crazy high or not.

  7. I did the Jungle Gin badge in a little over 2 hrs. I too threw away cards that could play (for score) in order to hold an ace, 1,] 2 or 3 & hopefully when the bot ginned or knocked, I would have the win. I enjoyed the game; it was fast paced. Thanks for all the tips a lot of you shared. It helped. Merry Christmas!

  8. Do not use Oklahoma. I don’t believe you get credit for underknocking in Oklahoma. Use the regular knock setting. And, as others noted, DON’T knock or go out with gin. Get three sets of three with an Ace, 2 or 3 (as long as you have set aces as low only) as the other card in your hand. I won 7 underknocks in one 100 game. I don’t know if you need to finish the game or not but I set my game to 100 and did finish a full game.

      • OK ~ I played a game of Oklahoma and I was never able to underknock but didn’t see it listed as an option when you win. Glad that Oklahoma works as well as regular.

    • Yes, you do get credit for the challenge while playing Oklahoma Gin. I completed this challenge today and I only play that version of the game. You just need to actually underknock.

    • Also doing Oklahoma. Much easier but still going to be a tedious badge since I can’t get a guest pass to send to my side account (not getting email at all..)

  9. Hi all, this is how I set up the game from the very beginning:

    1. Click on Play Now
    2. Click on Host a Game, then Create
    3. You will see Room Visibility on top – I clicked Yes for Private and even enter a password (not necessary to enter password) or even have a Private Game
    4. Player Type: I click Robots
    5. Turn Timer: I click No Limit
    6. Skill Range: I click Beginner

    Next I click on Game Settings on Top which is next to Table Settings (there are 2 tabs located on top)

    1. Aces: I click Aces are low only
    2. Knock Limit (I click Regular – Knock Limit 10)
    3. Points per Game: I set it 100 Point Game
    4. Multi-game match: I set it to Single Game Only

    Then on top Right I click PLAY NOW

    You should see Rob (Bot) and your name underneath

    I get rid of Kings, Queens, Jacks, 10’s unless I am dealt 3 of them

    The first card that I am able to take I will take it IF it’s under 10 points (again King, Queen, Jack, 10) even IF I don’t NEED the card just to get rid of a high card

    I do NOT try to make a lay of 4 cards, 3 only so I can keep an Ace or 2 for later on

    Once you get 3 lays and an Ace or 2 (possible a 3) DO NOTHING but wait until the BOT knocks, you do not Knock or try to win

    Sometimes the BOT will get Gin or knock before you but that’s okay just keep playing

    That’s it. You just need to get used to waiting until the BOT knocks first

    Note: I also played Oklahoma and that works as well but for me I had better luck playing the way I set it up above.

    • Hi Dee –
      I do it just a bit different:
      I make ACES high or low. The bots won’t touch the aces so it makes it easy to grab them as a group for yourself. Also – a “2” then becomes the lowest amount the bot can knock with. I always save a “2” for myself so that even if the bot knocks with 2, I win!
      I do much better against the bots this way than with making ACES low only.
