I finished this event. It was easy. On levels 6 & 7 I used the horse shoe and the mustaches to get the three cats. The badges are adorable!

I am no good at this game. I have tried Level 10 at least 20 times and still can’t get anywhere. I am still at the lower levels of the regular game so I can’t purchase Hyper Swappers. Any help would be appreciated.

Play level 2 over and over to build points to buy any of the power-ups.

That is not how it works…To gain access to the other power up’s one needs to play the game to certain levels to unlock them

You can only buy the power ups with coins that you have achieved the level to attain. I have over 17,000 coins but am limited to the powers ups that I can buy. I am on level 60 and can only buy up to the horseshoe. I have to use stars to buy a tile swapper, a hyper swapper or a moustache (and higher) for example. And I’m not going to waste stars on an event that doesn’t award any pogis.

If you mean that you are not far enough along to buy Hyper Swappers with coins, I suggest it would be a good idea to add a little BJ stars runs to your daily tasks until you CAN buy them with coins. If I remember right it is level 125 where you can begin to use coins for them.

Hi missymiss1000,
Play level 2 repeatedly to earn coins. If you have 1,000 coins for example, that’s enough to buy 20 Flame Swappers or Hammers, or 25 Scramblers. Use these to blast your way through a level. Just keep at it – restock coins, blast another level.
When you get to Level 90, the star power-up is a huge help. If you have two stars next to each other and activate them, it will blow up multiple rows and columns of the board (vertically and horizontally) and give lots of points for one move.

Her issue is she’s not far into the levels for the other power up’s that can be used with the coins, so she needs to play more levels to unlock those =)

When you go into the game it should’ve popped up for you to join it…If it doesn’t do that there’s an icon towards the bottom of the game screen for you to click

After you click the green play button a big pop-up appears and you can click “Join Event” “Not Now” or “X”. Click the green “Join Event” button to start the challenge. If, by accident, you clicked on the “X” or orange “Not Now” button, there is a button to click on in the bottom center of the main screen. It has a green exclamation point. Click on that and it opens the challenge.

What levels are best to get 180,000 points? I am at level 172 but I went back to 21, 23,24 so far gave me 180,000

Unless I need crystals or something special, I prefer level 2 for badges. Just to revisit my favorite three move win for that level: (1) 3rd row up from the bottom move a white gem sideways to the exact center. (2) bottom 2 rows switch the center green and blue gems. (3) swap the two hypercubes.

I need help from someone who are nearly expert in this Bejeweled game, , I can’t seem to get level 12, tried nearly 15 times and over 1000 worth of coins for the powerups and still can’t win it. I have to go back and gather more coins and try another approach. Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Well, since I got free power ups from Pogo and made enough coins to buy more, I moved all the cloud rows to the bottom, used 2 star powerups, cleared the first row of the stone, repeated again with 2 more star powerups wiped out all the stones and then the rest was kind of easy, used the hammers for the last few remaining crystals, got my 3 stars on it. Rest of the levels were okay, glad I can replay the No.2 as suggested by everyone to get more gems fast.

I’m not sure if there is a special strategy. Maybe go for the center jewels and try to create flame, star or hypercube gems?
