  2. I sometime like the sound on and then off depends on the game .
    today is my birthday in my pogo i have 18 years with pogo.. forget about it till a badge popped…

      I play with the sound on always! Sometimes it’s annoying, but I don’t like the silence either.

      i play with the sound off – have not a clue what any of the games sound like

      i need to hear the phone when it rings and the music i like to listen to ………………..

    • Happy 18th with Pogo! Next July will be my 23rd year.
      I play mostly with the sound on. Just a few games that I find the sound annoying. Peggle is one of them.

  5. I turn the sound on when I play Poppit Bingo, Spades and Dice City Roller. The rest of the games I keep the sound off.

    • I’m with you Dee with one exception, I cut off the speaker at the end of Poppit Bingo while the cactus cannon is activated, because I do not need to be applauded for a poorly played round.

  7. I always play with the sound off, even when playing Poppit Bingo. There was 1 game, Zuma’s Revenge, where I turned the sound on when I was working on a badge to get the fruit. I needed to hear the sound b/c I never remembered to look for it.

    • I wish Poppit Bingo would default to the music off and let those that want to listen to that music (?) turn it up if wanted. . I always forget to turn that off before starting the game and then can’t hear the numbers. I play with the sound off for that games at times but usually want to hear that particular game call numbers at least softly. The rest of the games are with sound off for the most part.

      • When you hit play in poppit bingo, on the left hand corner there is a round gear,
        click on it and you can turn the music off there. Hope it helps all those who
        want the background music really low or off entirely,

      • If I remember correctly, ,once you lower the music level, it stays that way for future games. Like wearymom says, it’s easy to adjust.

  8. Off here too lol. I listen to some CD’s sometimes. I don’t even
    listen to the bingo caller! Sometimes talk on the phone. Sometimes
    talking to the other half.

  10. Sound on it’s too quiet here but I do mute when phone rings except if it’s a Spam caller then i just hold the phone up to my laptop speaker & let them sing with Spike LOL!

  12. I play pogo on my laptop. I have the sound on but I don’t always put my ear buds in. Depends on what game I’m playing. Some I like the sound and some I don’t. I’d like the thank everyone at Badgehungry for your hard work this year. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to everyone. May next year be a little more happier. Stay safe and take care everyone.

  14. Sound off at my house usually have tv on while playing or blasting Frddie Murcury songs much better than Pogos music

  17. I usually play with it on, although very low. I dislike many of the sounds in Peggle Blast and sometimes some others just annoy me, or I find them distracting – like that crazy new “sliding trombone” tune they added to Claire (ouch my ears!), so I shut off the sound then.

  19. Never have I played with the sound on with any game, Pogo or otherwise. I’m always on business calls, or watching TV, or listening to music. I can’t even stand alerts for text messages or e-mails coming in. I want to choose my own things to hear…:)

  20. I usually play with the sound off except for Poppit Bingo which I play with the music off but the sound on so I can hear the numbers. I’m usually listening to the tv or to music.

  21. Sound on except for Turbo 21; can’t stand the noise in that game. I play Poppitt Bingo with music off when on laptop so I can hear the tv programs better,

  22. I play with both. Mostly the sound off unless necessary for the game, but it depends.

    I have been without a computer for almost 3 weeks so I am playing catch up. I lost it right after the big sale on the gems. I am so glad I didn’t miss that. I’m going to go back and see what else I have missed.

    I’m so glad to be back. I got tired of TV and was going to bed really early. lol

    But for most games I low it down
    Some games I turn it up because as crazy as I am I like the sounds and/or music.
    If the game has individual music and special sound FX controls for on/off is great but it’s even better if we can raise or low the volume of each separately (Poppit Bingo for instance)

    Some examples are:
    Poppit Bingo: both music and sound FX both On but I turn up the music more than sounds.
    Poppit. I raise the volume to high to hear those balloons popping, I like it plus I found the popping sounds relaxing
    Cookie Connect ,Trizzle, Lottso Express and more: Raise the volume, yes I like the music and sounds
    Quinn’s Aquarium: Turn On the music but turn Off the sound effects, those whale sounds irk me a bit.

    I think the only game I completely turn Off the sound is Addiction Solitaire.
    What horrible and obnoxious music.

  27. Sound off all the time as TV usually on so am playing while just listening to TV as use it like a radio, lol.

  28. Off, always off. I have music playing all the time. Either Alexa or I have YouTube on. So the sound is never on.

  29. It depends on the game and what kind it’s playing. If it gets to annoying I mute the sound or turn it down low so it’s not very loud.

    My son always plays with the sound on ~ hmmm…

    • I don’t have it and I really want it. Hope I’m able to get it soon. I used to play every day and then I just had too much to do and couldn’t but I’d like to try again to play it daily. I really enjoyed the game, not that I was great at it.

  32. It depends on the game for me too…some games you need to hear sounds…but I never, ever have music on…always off

  33. I play with both….depends on the game. Can’t stand Cookie Connect music, On the other hand, I can get lost in the music of Classic Clair and Quinn’s

    • Same for me Brenda, it’s the only game I have volume on for 🙂

      I’m working my way towards 7000 badges and was wondering if there is anything I’m missing as far as daily tasks that I can do to help – such as the daily challenges on cookie connect that net badges.

      Currently my daily tasks are:

      Cookie Connect Daily Challenge
      Bejeweled Stars Daily Challenge
      Collect tickets in Poppit Bingo
      Collect coins in Pogo Slots
      Collect money in Monopoly Sudoku
      Open the challenge for Pogo Daily Sudoku – I haven’t been doing the daily special challenge yet

      Are there other games that you all collect from daily or have daily challenges that you enjoy?

        • Hi Suz, I’m not a VIP member so I’m not sure what exactly is listed on the Today in Pogo. Just wanted to see what others were doing that I might want to add in to my routine. Have a great day! 🙂

      • I do Peggle Blast daily and get the daily done there. I also do a few solitaire Blitz to move around the islands. Hopefully someday I will finish.

  36. I always have the sound on. I like to have the audible cues to remind me where I am in the game. My eyesight is getting worse and worse, and the sound is very helpful.

    On a different note, I posted in last weekend’s thread that I had missed out on badge #12 of the 25 Days of Pogo celebration event. As Suz had advised, I reached out to EA Help, and received the badge sometime during the night. Yay me!

  37. I have sound off on most of the games. I do have sound only for Poppit Bingo, I am usually listening to Elvis radio On Sirius XM on television or playing CD’s. Sometimes I do have sound on Word Whomp if nothing else is on in the home.

  38. I play outside on the carport and don’t want to disturb the neighbors so with the exception of Poppit Bingo, the sound is off.

  39. Sound on for Poppit Bingo (music definitely OFF!) and I keep the sound on for Bejeweled Stars. I absolutely adore the sounds of blasting all the jewels and the cat at the end singing MEOW, MEOW, MEOW! I don’t recall if I have the sound on for anything else. Have a wonderful weekend, everyone!

  40. I always leave the sound off. I do however miss the sound from the old “Vaults of Atlantis” game. I got such a huge kick out of the “doink doink doink” sound every time the shark poked Tex in the butt!

  41. I always play with the sound off. I even play Poppit Bingo with the sound off. The non-ending repetitive sound is annoying to me.

  42. I usually have to sound off, except for Poppit Bingo, then I have it on low so as not disturb others.

    Off topic, how do you get the colorful lips in Sweet Tooth town?

  44. Is anyone else getting a black screen on tri-peaks solitaire. Its the only game i’m having trouble on and can’t get any pogo help for this..

  46. I have had the sound off lately. But I used to have some sound on for very few games. I don’t like the arcade bells and whistle type sounds. I like the calming sounds that were in Gin,. Jewel academy has a very nice calming sound. I did get excited with the sound of winning a jackpot, but since that is not happening anymore. I really don’t listen, I turn the sound off, too childish for me. I want to relax when playing.

  47. Sound off all the time whether its on the phone or laptop. 20 yrs with Pogo this past July.

  49. Fine mess I got into OLLIE!!!!

    As usual, I went ahead and started playing Garden Blast as soon as it was available. I opened all Garden chests and collected as many power ups and boosters earned, hoping to have them for future Events, etc..

    Having only reached rank 8 I followed the suggestion to play random levels to advance. I have been stuck on random level ‘200’ forever and I have used all my power ups and boosters and even purchased power ups repeating this level over and over to help me earn rank points and advance , TO NO AVAIL. Grrrrrrrrrrr

    Badges earned in the new games don’t even show in your badge count until everyone has the game.

    I surrender Pogo. You won another battle in this war.

  50. I always play with the sound off, i have 2,046 Wednesday Challenge Badges 483 mix and Match Badges 73 premium Badges 2,752 Game Award Badges and 450 Special Edition Badges for a total of 5,559 Badges. I want to wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
